Immediately following Aaron was Natalie. She rose shakily, adjusting her too large dress, then took her seat. The interview wasas follows:
"Are you alright, Natalie?"
A nod.
"Would you like to add a surprise?"
"I'm afraid I'm too predictable for that."
"You must have something hidden. What about your home?"
"I have a sister. And a friend." Natalie opens her locker, her district token. Pictures of a boy and a girl inside.
"Such lovely looking people." Undoubtedly forced. "Tell us about them."
"We're very close, the three of us. I..really love them. My sister is sick and now..." A sob. "I'll never be able to help her." Complete loss of composure.
"There, there, what if you win?"
"I can't."
The time ended and Natalie returned to her seat, looking as though she were trying hard to stifle sobs if panic and grief.

Aoife looked at her sympathetically as she walked back. She knew how it felt to be hopeless, like there was nothing you could do to help. She took a shaky breath, thinking about the day her parents died. She has gone fishing, and when she came back, her house was in flames. She shook her head, clearing her thoughts.
-
Then there were the boy from seven, District Eight, and the girl from nine. When the rather good looking girl seated herself, it was time for Percy to do his interview. Caesar called him up and once he was seated, he said, " Now, do you have any more bombshells for us?"
-
Percy sat down and laughed. "I'm afraid not, sir. Only that I hope to win with the least kills possible." he said honestly, giving a small smile.
-
"Oh, alright," Caesar sighed with a smile. "How is District 9 treating you?"
Silvie Menkin, a game maker, made a face of mild supplement and disgust. She hated having softies, as she called them, in the games. She looked at her friend Aurelius Noble and motioned gaging, making him grin.
-
"Very well." Percy said evenly, noticing how people were reacting too him.
Aoife studied him, and grinned. At least she wasn't the only pro-life tributes. She saw her district partner shake his head in disgust and she stuck her tongue out t him. Smiling at his shocked expression, she turned back to Percy.
-
"How do you think that you will do in the games?"
-
"I think I'll have a fine chance of winning." Percy said, smiling slightly.
-
"Wonderful! You seem confident. How did you react to being chosen?"
-
"It was a shock, of course. I thought for sure my brother would volunteer. But, I guess family loyalty isn't a big thing." Percy said quietly.
-
"Did you ever make up with your brother?" Caesar crossed his legs.
Natalie covered a scoff with a coughing fit. She was wondering whether or not Percy had a concept self preservation. Some people don't have a death wish.
-
Percy didn't answer.
-
"Anything?" Caesar left a pause for Percy to answer, but if he didn't, he continued with. "I'd there anyone to else that you would be going home to?"
-
"Yes." Percy said, smiling slightly. "My girlfriend, Sage."
-
"Oh, lovely. And are you getting along with her?"
-
"Yes." Percy said, smiling. "If I win, I'm going to marry her." he said hopefully.
-
"Well, good luck to you. Have anything to say to the audience?"
-
"I would like to say I love you to Sage." Percy smiled.
-
"Wonderful." The chime signaled the end of the segment. "And that's all for you, Percy."
-
Percy gave a large grin and walked back to his chair.
