[align=center][font=georgia]Okay, well, sometimes weird stuff happens in my house. And I don't know how to explain it, but sometimes it affects my dog. He'll growl or look off into space for a long time. Stuff like that.

But anyway, as I was trying to go to bed tonight, I was putting away my iPad. Right as I put my iPad down, I heard my dog yelp. And he's really old, nine in fact. I was was confused because he didn't bark, or I didn't hear him. Note, he was a shock collar, my dad insisted. I called him over, thinking it may have been my fault because it sometimes goes off with other noises, it doesn't have to be a bark. He didn't come over right away, which doesn't surprise me. But I was petting him, and he was shaking a bit.
Late, when I was laying down, he came up to me. He usually sleeps at the end of my bed, like always. The only time he really sleeps at the head is when I force him to or when he's waiting for me to get up. I went to pet him, and he was growling. So, I flicked on the lights, trying to calm him down. It didn't really work, so I started getting a little worried. Turned the lights off and tried to ignore my growing paranoia, still trying to calm down T.J. I noticed that things didn't really feel right in there, either. I mean, there was a sort of... Heaviness to it. It was really freaking me out. And by that time, I was getting really worried because I started hearing things - whether it be because I get paranoid easily or what, I don't know. T.J. was also worrying me because he usually he's okay with creaking and things, but he was still acting strange.

And I've had him since he was old enough to be given away. He's literally my world, and I'm not ready for something bad to happen to him. Last school year, his arthritis got really bad. I was crying every morning before I left for school because I was terrified I'd come home to find him horribly ill or worse dead.

I'm just really worried because never have I felt so unsafe in my own room or that worried for my dog.

And I was out and about all day, so I'm really tried. I haven't had any sleep this week either. I don't know if I'm just this way because I'm overly tired or what.

I'm in my brother's room now. I explained everything to him, and he's letting me stay here tonight. T.J.'s acting like he's better, too.
I just don't know what to do. I feel like I'm over-reacting.

Thanks for hearing me out, guys. It may just be the tiredness getting to be or something, but, regardless, it's nice to know you'll all let me vent.

I have a slight feeling of how you feel
we live pretty close a graveyard, so I know the feeling of being paranoid. I have a hard time sleeping in my room sometimes.

my dog's getting old too, infact she turned 9 this month. I'm always worrying about her.
