Emily shushed him. "I'll explain later."
They both shot the last two. "There..." the girl said, still being quiet.

Shadow obeyed Ellie, staying silent and not moving.
Joel stood.
Ellie and Tess stood, Ellie trying to help Shadow up. "Can you stand?"
The taller shooter took off his hood as well. He turned out to be a red haired young man, seeming to be in his early twenties.
Shadow nodded, standing up easily, but quickly falling down again. "Shit! My head...It fucking hurts..." he clenched his teeth.
"Who are you?" Joel repeated.
Ellie looked worried. "Here, you can lean on my shoulder to stand."
The young man looked over at him. "I'm Jack, and this is my younger sister Frankie." "We saw that you guys were in trouble and decided to help."
Emily again o-o
"Well, we don't mean to be straight, but we need to leave, so we really have no time to thank you." Joel frowned.
Shadow gratefully leaned on Ellie's shoulder, not understanding why she was so willing to help him. He stared at her.
(( DAMMIT ))
She saw he was staring at him and looked a bit confused. "What?"
Jack sighed,"You don't even need to thank us. We would need to kill them anyway to get out of there."
Joel sighed. "Good." He turned to Tess. "Alright. Let's go."
"Uhh...Nothing." He looked away, embarrassed and blushing.
Tess nodded, following Joel.
Ellie followed, helping Shadow walk.
Jack and Frankie ran ahead of them. "We'll make sure the way is clear for you!" Jack said, them running ahead out of sight.
Joel looked at the disappearing figure of Jack.
Shadow grunted. "Why the hell does my head hurt so much?"
"A soldier hit you in the head with his gun. You got hit pretty good." Tess said simply.
Ellie nodded. "You didn't wake up for a while." She then glanced over at Joel, whispering to Shadow. "And the big guy over here was planing on leaving you there."
"He what?" Shadow was shocked. "He was going to..." His eyes grew hateful. "Just like that fucking liar..." Shadow muttered under his breath. "So much for being safe with numbers...." He wondered if he would be safe holing up in a building by himself.
Joel realized he was completely out of bullets. "Shit. I'm completely out."
"Here." Tess said, giving him some ammo. "I don't have much either, but I can offer some."
Ellie looked concerned, looking over at him. "Hey, are you okay?..."
"Three shots." Joel sighed. "Good enough."
Shadow rolled his eyes. "Perfectly fine." He said sarcastically.
She looked concerned, looking at him a while longer before looking ahead of them.
Tess was silent for a while. She saw the capitol building, it still being a long way off, and smiled. "Well, there it is. now we just have to get to it..."
"Let's get through this building. There's a firefly safehouse we can reach if we get through this building." Joel looked up at a building that must of been some sort of building for a business.
Shadow seemed more irritated now. "If he was going to leave me, why am I still here?"
"It wasn't like I was going to leave you there." She said simply, acting as if it wasn't a big deal. "Jack and Frankie helped, too. If it wasn't for them buying some time, Joel and Tess would have dragged me off."
Tess nodded. "Sounds like a plan." She opened the door, letting them in first before following them in.
Shadow glanced over at Ellie. "Why? What have I done for you?"
Joel waited for Ellie and Shadow to enter. "Hurry up."
"... I don't know, really. It's not like I would leave you." Ellie lead shadow into the building.
Tess sighed, hearing clickers. "This place is probably infested."
Shadow was growing dizzy from all the walking and, honestly, the whole situation. "...Makes no sense." He half sat, half fell onto the ground.
Joel walked inside, then muttered to himself. "We have very little ammo. This isn't going to end well.
