    "That is a stupid idea" Tess said as she pulled the trigger, the gunshot ringing off of the walls of the alley. Robert had sold Tess and Joel's guns to the Fireflies.


    Nearby, what was left of roberts men were trying to keep a certain teen still...

    Shadow gripped his knife and swung towards one of the cutthroats, but felt himself grabbed and slammed into the ground, quickly having his hand tied.


    Joel looked at Tess. "We need to find those Fireflies so we can get our weapons back.


    OOC: Go ahead and be Marlene : )

    "you better keep quiet, kid." the man said. He started to tie Shadow as another man came in, panicking. "they just killed Robert!"


    Tess nodded. Marlene walked out from the back of the alley, holding a wound on her side.

    The man was kicked back, the ropes on shadow loosening.


    "Soldiers. where's Robert?"
    Tess stepped over to the side so she could see Robert, dead on the ground.
    Marlene scoffed. "heh... I needed him alive."

    "You're gonna have to earn those guns." Marlene said.
    Tess sighed, glancing over at Joel. "how many ration cards are we talking about?"
    "I don't give a damn about ration cards... I need something smuggled out of the city. You do that, you'll get your guns back, and then some." Marlene gave them the offer, still holding her side.


    The man tried to tie him up again. "Dammit, kid, stop squirming! You're gonna get us killed!"

    "they're around here somewhere." the sound of soldiers coming came closer and closer to the alley.


    "I'll show you when we get there, come on!"Marlene started running off. Tess hesitated, glancing at Joel, before running after her.


    The men heard the soldiers and grabbed Shadow, trying to run off, accidentally getting into clear view of Joel, Tess, and Marlene.

    One of the men fell dead, the other one on the ground, injured. Tess ran over and cut Shadow free, grabbing his hand and bringing him along. "C'mon, kid, there isn't much time! Joel, hustle!"

    Soon enough, they were able to avoid the soldiers. they followed marlene until she lead them into a watch house, opening the door.


    "Get the fuck away from her!" Ellie came at Joel with a switchblade.


    Tess quickly grabbed Ellie's wrist. "Hey there, slow down."

    "She's not one of mine." She said, sitting down on a bench.


    tess let Ellie go, Ellie putting away her switchblade, glancing at Shadow before she went over to Marlene. "Oh god, what happened?"

    Tess glanced over at Shadow before looking back at Marlene and Ellie.


    "Don't worry, it's fixable. I got us help... but i can't come with you." Marlene said, a bit out of breath.
    "... well then I'm staying." Ellie said simply.
    "Ellie, we won't have another shot at this."

    "There's a crew of Fireflies that'll meet you at the capitol building." Marlene said simply.


    "That's not exactly close" Tess said, looking slightly impatient.
    "You're capable." Marlene said sternly. "You hand her off, come back, the weapons are yours. double what robert sold me."
    "Speaking of which, where are they."
    "back at our camp."
