Malory had a hard night. She has had a secret for a while that yesterday just came out. She had lived by herself in an old run down apartment. That was until someone, a.k.a. Malory accidently caught it on fire. She had no where to go. After the crews had put the fire out, and she lied telling she did have somewhere Malory began walking the streets. one of her teachers from school and spotted the soot and ash covered girl walking. After explaining the story, he offered her to spend the night.
Stayed the night at my teachers house…that’s not weird right? {PAFP}

IC Malory stretched. She had slept on the couch last night, and her back was stiff.

Xavier woke up and went to the restroom. he soon walked into his kitchen to start making breakfast

Malory buttoned some of the buttons that came unbuttoned on the shirt she had borrowed and got up. She went to the kitchen, "I can cook, professor."

"you can? good,let me just cook for you today.you can just rest."he said looking at her

Malory smiled slightly. She coughed into her elbow and sat at the table

"foods ready.I made eggs and grits if that's okay."he said bringing the plates out

"That's fine." Malroy smiled. She hadn't had a decent meal in a long time and eggs sounded great

He gave her a plate and sat down across from her

"Thanks." Malory took a bite eagerly. She quickly took more and more

"seems like you hungry"he said jokingly

"Oh." Malory wiped her mouth. She gently pushed the empty plate away, "I'm sorry."

"oh no it's no problem"he finished his meal"let me get that for you"he said going for her plate

"I can clean the dishes sir." Malory stood

"are you sure?"he said questioningly

"I can do it." Malory smiled. She picked up her plate and reached for his. "Thank you for letting me stay the night."

"oh its okay. couldn't just leave you by yourself"he said giving her the plate

Malory quickly ran a sink of hot water. "It wouldn't have been a problem. I have been by myself since I was 12."
