Shadowfoot was napping in the warriors den, when he had a dream of himself and his beautiful mate by his side, He slowly woke up. "Mouse dung! That same dream again, Its never going to happen. None of the she-cats like me. I'll never have a mate." He said dejectedly.

Snowcloud walked into the warriors den "Oh Hi Shadowfoot what's up?" I wonder if he knows how i feel about him she thought

"H-hi Snowcloud." Shadowfoot stuttered. Great just the cat I was dreaming about...

"You okay Shadow foot?" concern for him flooded her eyes

"Yeah, I'm fine." Shadowfoot said.

SHe purred in amusement "okay" she rolled her eyes and laid down she started to groom her white coat

" Sooo How have you been Snowcould?" He asked.

"Good but Shadiwfoot I wanted to ask you something"

"Ok what is it?" Shadowfoot said.

"Do you want to go hunting with me?" she bit her lower lip this was going no where

"Sure!" Shadowfoot said "Lets go!"

She nodded "Where to?"

"Lets go to the pine trees. I'll race you there!" Shadowfoot said as he bounded out of the den.

Snowcloud laughed and ran after him

Shadowfoot skidded to a stop, and waited for Snowcloud.

SHe ran past him and called over her shoulder "I thought this was a race" laughing she ran out of camp

He ran after her then he switched course and took a shortcut.

Snowcloud realized he was not following her any more she found his scent and followed it and ran at full speed until she knocked into him panting "Oh sorry Shadowfoot" she smiled and stood up

" It's ok Snowcloud. I won though!" Shadowfoot said.

Smirking she shook her pelt free of snow and got most of it on Shadowfoot she smiled and ran off deeper into the pine tree climbing one quickly she waited for Shadowfoot
