    Spottedseed smiled at Blactpelt and dropped some chervil roots to chew on. She then turned to star piling her herbs again.


    Marblepaw jumped behind Darkskies, he was looking around and trying to smell everything

    Silverpaw watched Marblepaw's excitement and tried not to laugh, but she let out a small giggle. She opened her mouth slightly and tried to scent for prey. "Rabbit to the left." She whispered.

    Silverpaw looked at Darkskies, confused. Why not? They were getting low on prey, that rabbit wasn't going to be there forever.

    "It's Marblepaw's first day as a apprentice. He must learn the basics first. If it's your first day too, you must learn with Marblepaw." Darkskies meowed.

    Marblepaw felt embarrassed, he looked at Silverpaw and made a silly face hoping she'd laugh.


    Stoneheart looked at the apprentices and flicked her tail impatiently, "Well I'm not an apprentice, can I go get something?" She mewed at Darkskies

    "We can't do that yet!" Darkskies growled strictly. He made a few more pawsteps and stopped by an old tree.with moss all over it. He turned around to see the patrol. "We are here." He mewed.

    Stoneheart growled under her breath and sat down with her tail flicking furiously beside her, she looked at a tree in front of her, refusing to look at Darkskies, "I would have prefer to stay in camp for this!" She grumbled

    Marblepaw looked at his mentor expectantly, he glanced at Stoneheart who was clearly not amused and then looked at Silverpaw

    Darkskies moved towards the moss. "The first thing you are going to do is bring moss to camp for the bedding in everyone's nest." He meowed seriously. "You have to unsleath your claws and slowly rake the moss off the tree. This will help you know how to fight and hunt." Darkskies said.

    Silverpaw looked at him like 'What!? How does getting moss tech you how to hunt and fight?!' She snorted but stepped up to start.

    Stoneheart huffed, "Then what am I supposed to be doing here! I'm not going to do apprentice chores!" She got up and lashed her tail from side to side, she was staring at Darkskies with her eyes narrowed.


    Marblepaw sighed, he didn't wants to take moss, he was hoping he'd hunt or fight or something, he shrugged and looked at Silverpaw
