Eva and Mei walked out of the Snowpoint City Gym only to have the icy winds slap their unprotected bodies. "Brrr. I f-forgot about the c-cold." Eva chattered. Wrapping her arms around her she quickly dashed towards a small hut not far from the gym. She swung open the door and they both entered the warm interior of the hut with glee. Closing the door shut she sighed and turned to Mei. "Phew what a cold night." She shivered. Looking back outside she just remembered, a voice. "Mei, did you happen to hear a voice when we left the Gym?"

Smaug looked curiously at the new pokemon before speaking in his mountainous voice. "Well, new pokemon. Welcome to paradise...or as close as it's going to get."

"Well, at least we're safe from our distraught brethren." Smaug muttered. "I'm Smaug, that Luxray is Daeron, that bossy Prinplup is Obsidian or Obby for short, Jay the Riolu, and last but not least that cold as stone Absol is Stryder." He greeted the rest of the Pokemon.

Eva shrugged and turned to Mei. "This is my little house. I have a spare room upstairs that you can use." She said.

OOC: Yup! That's fine.

IC: Eva walked briskly towards an old, scared fireplace. Stuffing a hand in her pocket Eva drew a couple matches and lit the fresh wood already waiting. The woods lit up and the crimson fire brought some light into the dark house. Who knew a small fire could be so powerful? she thought. Eva sat in front of the dancing flames, hands reached out to take the warmth.

OOC: Sorry I don't understand; lengthening the trainers time?

Stryder gazed back at the rest of the Pokémon. They all seemed happy to finally get something in their bellies. There was a lot of them so they could at least fend of two mutated brethren. Reassured Stryder headed out of the Gym and to the open City. Eva let Stryder roam around the City. He was resourceful and never took any unnecessary risks. Silent as the shadow's he roamed through the graveyard of buildings, hopefully in his search he will find something worth bringing back. Or someone.

OOC: Oh! Well anything is fine by me as long as it doesn't break the rules.

IC:
Stryder was now patrolling the out skirts of Snowpoint City, hoping to find just one useful thing to report back. Suddenly he hear voices, Pokémon and human. Moving to a crouch he carefully moved closer to the sounds until they finally came to view. A girl was surrounded by four Pokémon, hers by the looks of it. They didn't seem hostile only lost. "You! Over there!" He barked. "State your business!"

Stryder padded cautiously out from behind a rotting tree, exposing himself to the newcomers. "Excuse me for my rather harsh words. I want to make sure you aren't a danger to the survivors." Stryder said with monotone voice. He had a good look at the survivors, the Pokémon were skinny but seemed strong. Much stronger than the human. "If you are in need of a place to stay my trainer has a facility up where the survivors of the Snowpoint City attack. Mutants are rare there, they tend to stay in the downtown area of the city." He proposed.

OOC: Oh just to tell you Stryder is an Absol so he was talking to the Pokémon.

IC:

Styder nodded. "Stay close and follow me." He said before heading back into the ruins.

Styder guided them through connected alley ways, not daring to expose them in the open streets. Luckily as they reached the protective barrier of Eva's sanctuary no mutants had seen them and they entered without an injury. "You see that Gym." He said, pointing a fore claw. "Stay there while I get my trainer. There will be other Pokémon their but tell them Stryder sent you and you'll be fine." After he was done he padded off towards Eva's hut.

Eva heard scratching coming from the front door and opened it. Stryder sat in the door way. "What is it Stryder?" She asked. The Absol nodded towards the Gym then looked back at her. "Something in the Gym? Okay, hold on a sec. Let me get my coat."
