  • "Great," Spiderheart said, getting up. "Blink away the last of the night's rest and let's be on our way." He glanced over to Robineye.
"Uh... did you guys want to tag along?" he asked.

Thunderecho stepped lightly, her sharp eyes darting along the thick trees as her ears stayed acute to the noise around her. It wasn't long till she spotted a small bird, pecking at something behind a small rock. She swiftly dropped into a crouch.

  • ROBINEYE
Robineye nodded. "Yes, there are some herbs that groe around there. Just give us a moment."

    BRISTLESTAR
Bristlestar scanned a small heap of rocks, tasting the air. There were always tiny rodents that hung in small crevices under rocks. He pressed himself low to the grass while keeping his eyes fixed forward.

  • "I'm ready," Brackenfoot meowed, yawning one last time as he stretched back to his paws and arched his back.

With a quick leap, Runningashes trapped the mouse beneath her paws and finishe it off with a quick and gentle nip to it's neck. Licking her lips, she dug a small hole, burrows her catch, then set off to hunt again.

  • Spiderheart nodded. "We're going to start walking, Robineye," he called to the medicine cat. "We won't be far. Just catch up to us when you're ready."
He led them along, exiting camp. He glanced over at Swiftclaw. "New? No, not really, nothing but a burr in my nest," he told her, looking ahead. "What about you?"

Thunderecho zig-zagged between the many trees in silence with the stealth of a snake, before shooting forward to grasp the bird. Unfortunately she'd forgotten the fact that it was right in front of a rock, and ending up slamming her face into it. The bird scrambled away at once.

  • "I don't think so," he said. "The nice green-leaf weather's been kind, so we haven't had too many issues to talk about." He walked over the grass and past the trees, spotting the long stretch of water and padding alongside it. "Perhaps you should ask the birds what they find so interesting! They're always chatting, after all," he purred.

"Ugh..." Thunderecho's paws rubbed her head. "Oh, fox-dung..." she hissed, vowing that she'd claw any onlooker's eyes out.

  • Spiderheart side-stepped, flicking her ear with his tail. "Do that again and I'll land in the river!" he snorted. [b]"Then everyone will have something to talk about."

  • She laughed "yeah then I'll have to explain why you fell" she purred and smlied at him "why can I joke with him when I can't even ask how he feels about me" she thought with a smile

  • ROBINEYE
"Great. Let's hurry up and catch up to them," she meowed, starting after the patrol. "Feverfew and horsetail both grow near bodies of water. We'll follow the patrol along the river until we reach the lake."

    BRISTLESTAR
His pale green eyes glinted as he spotted a rabbit scurry to the edge of the rocky heap. He crept up slowly, unnoticed, before taking just the right moment to pounce.

  • Spiderheart scoffed. At the sound of coming pawsteps he halted, looking over his shoulder to see the medicine cats catching up.
"Glad you could join us," he meowed.

Thunderecho stood up again, her head pounding. She shook herself as if trying to shake water out of her ears and turned away. Now that she'd made a fool of herself she'd better catch something good.

  • Venuspaw purred when she saw Brackenfoot. He was... She didnt even know! No words to explain him.

I just wanted her to have a crush... Srry if that came suddenly.

  • OOC: Brankenfoot/Runningashes' RPer said she'd be away on vacation or something for like a month or two... So I thought I'd let you guys know so you don't think she's dead or anything lol

  • Ooc; That's fine if she's away for a while, it's not like I'd kick her out or anything. She can catch up when she gets back.

    Ic;
    ROBINEYE
The patched she-cat nodded. "Venuspaw and I are only going to follow you to the lake," she meowed. "We'll part ways once we cut through the river that leads to the Star Stepping Place."
She glanced over at her purring apprentice, tilting her head.
"Going to the lake isn't that fun," she said with her usual obliviousness.

  • Venuspaw shook her head to clear it. "Uh... Yes. Its going to be most fun indeed." she dropped her head in shame, keeping her ears down and her eyes on the ground. She was a medicine cat! She couldnt like Brackenfoot!

  • OOC: Hey guys! I'm back for a little while, at least, but I'm gonna have to go again xP
And I'm fine with the crush thing lol.

Brackenfoot gave a light twitch of his ears, catching a quick glimpse of the medicine cat's apprentice gawking over him before she had turned away; staring at the ground. He chuckled softly, giving his tail a gentle sway, "good luck," he called and dipped his head towards both medicine cats.

  • ROBINEYE
Robineye's gaze flickered between the two, slightly curious. But she dismissed it quickly, continuing her high-stepping walk, eager to get going in the day's activities.

    BRISTLESTAR
Bristlestar snapped the rabbit's neck swift and clean. He narrowed one eye slightly as he stopped to look over his kill. Scrawny. How unfortunate, he thought before picking it up.

  • Venuspaw silently sighed. Why couldn't she have been something different? A warrior not a Medicine Cat. If only she could choose a different path. She could have Brackenfoot and not get in trouble for it! If only things were different...
