BRISTLESTAR
Bristlestar nodded. "Certainly, Runningashes," he replied. "The more the merrier, as the saying goes."

Spiderheart shook his head softly and headed out of the den.
Thunderecho's whiskers twitched. "Surely not merrier for the mice," she joked, her blue eyes sparking.
-
"Sure." She mewed, stretching. "I need to move around."
-
BRISTLESTAR
"Good." He nodded at the three she-cats. "Let's head out then. Spiderheart, arrange the border patrol, will you?" he added as he turned to leave camp, flicking the tip of his tail. -
Ebonyclaw followed her leader closely.
-
Flicking the tip of her tail, Runningashes swiftly followed after the leader. After some time still spent in his nest, Brwckenfoot slowly began to awaken.
-
Venuspaw gave her mentor a piece of prey. She began to eat her's when the idea came. "Maybe we can join the border patrol for the herb hunting."

BRISTLESTAR
Bristlestar led them out of camp, picking his way along the rocky hillsides until they gave way to the sunny pine forests. "There's bound to be prey hidden in the shade," he said, walking along the tall trees.ROBINEYE
Robineye gave a nod, taking a bite of her piece. "Good idea," she said after swallowing. "I'll ask the patrol which route they're taking before they go." -
Spiderheart looked around. "It seems we'll have to scrape together whoever's left around for the border patrol," he said. "Hold on -- where is Brackenfoot?" His whiskers twitched. "Don't tell me he's still asleep." He sighed.
Thunderecho followed, breathing in the smells of the pine trees.
-
Venuspaw nodded, smiling through her mouthful.
-
Runningashes gave a quick nod, lowering her jaw to taste the air as she drew in all the scents. She gave a soft twitch of her ears as she perked them, listening carefully to the gentle scurrying of the creatures just out of eyes sight.
Parting his jaws in a quick yawn, Brackenfoot blinked at the sunlight and let out a low huff as he made his way out of the den. "Not anymore, I'm not..." he muttered in reply to Spiderheart. -
"Good. I'm going to need you for the border patrol. Feeling up for the trek to the southern border?" Spiderheart asked the drowsy tom.
-
"The... What?" Brackenfoot blinked and sat down to quickly groom his scruffy pelt, "I don't remember signing up for such a thing..." he smirked, lashing his tail as he lapped his tongue down his lean muscles. "But sure, I'll come." -
ROBINEYE
Finishing the last few bites she poked her head out of the den and called out to Spiderheart. "Are you following the river to the border?" she asked.BRISTLESTAR
Bristlestar set his tail low to the ground, gently sweeping it back and forth to signal the group to spread out. -
Ebonyclaw noticed her leaders signal and went to the left.
-
Swiftclaw saw spiderheart and waved "hey" she smiled
-
Spiderheart looked over to Robineye. "Sure are." He turned his gaze to Swiftclaw.
"Morning. We need another cat to come along on the border patrol," he said. "Join us."Thunderecho slunk away into the trees at Bristlestar's signal.
-
Runningashes swiftly turned to the right, making sure she was soft on her paws as she stepped. Once a mouse had come into sight, she slowly lowered herself into a crouch. Her tail hovered over the ground, and slowly she began to creep forward. A fox-length away, she bunched her muscles and prepared to leap. -
She nodded
