"I told him no and to stick it, out of town with a down in my name. Said I'm done with all of my fake friends, self-righteous pawns in a losing game," the pretty voice of the cinnamon colored apprentice went. Artisticpaw really wasn't doing much; a claw unsheathed to doodle in the dirt as she sang the words of a song. She'd found herself singing a lot recently. "Got my band and a light that won't go out, been burning since the day I was born."
"So I cry just a little then I dry my eyes, 'cause I'm not a little girl no more."
The drawing in the dirt wasn't anything too unique or eccentric, simply a dandelion she had seen while out of camp with her elephant friend, Crescendo. She sang the next few lines of the song as she curled her skinny tail around her paws. "Some of us have to grow up sometimes, and so if I have to I'm gonna leave you behind. Some of us have to grow up sometimes, and so if I have to I'm gonna leave you behind."
