  • SpeckledOwl did what CherryPaw told her to do. Left! Right! Suddenly teeth sank into her scruff. She looked up at the most annoyed LeafDapple she has ever seen. "Just Stand up!" LeafDapple hissed. SpeckledOwl stood up to find it was low. "Oh… Hehe… Sorry…" she laughed. LeafDapple just rolled her eyes and swam in the deeper area where CherryPaw and OwlPaw were.

  • Cherrypaw hissed She was shorter than most and wanted to prove herself; swimming to the other side she got out and disappeared into the shadows. Down the river she ran (in the forest of the otherside) she got in where they couldn't see her and swam to the Wolfclan side and got out running twards camp.

  • Spiritkit looked behind her, seeing the brown and white she-cat. Spiritkit was still confused. Why was Duckfeather still here? Shouldn't she be in the warrior's den? Duckfeather was the only cat she could consider a mother since that is all she could remember. Though she young she-cat knew that her parents were gone. Most likely in Starclan. Spiritkit, as much as she loved her adopted family, wished deeply to know her real parents. But, she wasn't complaining. Duckfeather treated her equally and seem to love her just as much as the others. Spiritkit smiled, "Really?" Maybe, she could practice real hard so when she became an apprentice, she could fight just as well as the other apprentices.

Dirtpelt tilted his head, thinking, "How about a hunting lesson? Something to start off that is a bit easier. Plus, we can look around at the territory."

Racconeye rested in the shade, ignoring the cats around him.

Darkstone stopped short, smelling the air. The dark furred tom was not aware of the incident at the river. He raised his head as he caught scent of something interesting. He padded forward into a small clearing. Seeing some droppings, he walked over and sniffed them. His eyes widen and he scrunched his nose. Fox. It was fresh too. He didn't see the fox so he guessed he had just missed it. He followed the scent and saw the fox had left the territory. He would tell Batstar later, in case the fox came back.

  • LeafDapple grabbed a hold of OwlPaw and swam to the other side where it was shallower. She stood up and carried OwlPaw out of the water and laid her down. "Are you ok" she asked.

SpeckledOwl ran after CherryPaw. She forced her feet to move faster.

  • Duckfeather stood. "Alright. I want you to try and knock me over."

Pebblepaw nodded, then followed her mentor to the entrance.

Owlpaw coughed, but nodded. Her mind was on a different subject. "Why was there ice?"

  • Cherrypaw leaped onto a tree and climbed as best as she could losing her footing at times. When she go to a branch she went onto it and leaped from branch to branch slipping once in a while.

  • LeafDapple nodded,"Alright then…" She went off to find her stupid sister.

SpeckledOwl climbed up the same tree and leaped from branch to branch with perfect balance but once and every twelve jumps she slipped a bit but kept going.

  • Cherrypaw looked back with angered eyes that burned with pure hatred. Snapping her head back to the trees ahead over her she leaped off of the last branch before the clan entrence and walked in.

  • Spiritkit nodded and crouched low. Ok....what is the best way to knock a bigger cat off her paws? Her little mind struggled to think of a way. Spiritkit then lounged straight at her, though at the angle she jumped at, she was going to hit Duckfeather's shoulder. Her plan was to use her weight to knock her shoulder and make Duckfeather stumble. Before Duckfeather would recover, Spiritkit planned to use her weight again and lunge at her side. It wasn't a very good plan, but it was a plan.

Dirtpelt looked at Pebblepaw and gave her a small smile before padding towards the forest. He was going to go a bit deeper because more prey would be there, undisturbed by the cats.

Darkstone passed Dirtpelt and Pebblepaw, his mouth full of prey. He dropped it, "Careful, Dirtpelt. I scented a fox near the eastern border. It was fresh, but I think it left the territory. Just keep a look out, alright?"

The sleek brown tom nodded, "Thanks Darkstone." He looked at Pebblepaw once more, flicking his tail for her to follow.

Darkstone picked the prey up and dropped into the fresh kill pile. He then began to look for his leader, Batstar, to warn her about the fox.

  • Owlpaw looked around for Brackenfur.

Batstar was laying in the sun, relaxing.

Pebblepaw followed, a bit wary about the fox.

  • SpeckledOwl stopped at a branch and just stood there frozen. What did I do I was just going to talk to her. She leaped down she felt hurt inside so she hung her head and walked away from camp.

  • Spiritkit nodded and crouched low. Ok....what is the best way to knock a bigger cat off her paws? Her little mind struggled to think of a way. Spiritkit then lounged straight at her, though at the angle she jumped at, she was going to hit Duckfeather's shoulder. It wasn't a very good plan, but it was a plan.

Darkstone spotted his leader relaxing and approached her, "Batstar, Amy I talk to you?" He asked, not wanting to disturb her.

Dirtpelt purred, "Don't worry, Pebblepaw. We aren't going in that area. We won't be too far from camp."

  • Duckfeather ducked. "Nice try." She said encouragingly. "Now, try not to use your weight against me. Try to use your agility. Smaller cats are muchfaster than larger ones, who will us brute strength to defeat their enemies. That's an old ThunderClan technique. It works very well."

"I saw swimming down rlthe river." Owlpaw said nervously.

    Pebblepaw sighed, relieved.

  • SpeckledOwl dashed up the tallest tree in the territory and sat on the tallest branch. She looked over the territory. She started to cry. She hated the feeling of being hated.

  • Darkstone spotted his leader relaxing and approached her, "Batstar, May I talk to you?" He asked, not wanting to disturb her.

Spiritkit nodded. OK, that made sense. Feeling slightly down she didn't think of that earlier, she pushed it away and her eyes narrowed, glowing with determination. She lunged again, aiming at her right side. But, before was right beside her, she quickly slid under, her, aiming her paws(claws in of course) at Duckfeather's soft underbelly.

Dirtpelt stood short and smiled, "Alright Pebblepaw. Now, take a deep breath and tell me what you smell."

  • Batstar looked up. "Yes, of course." She sat up , wrapping her tail around her paws. "What is it?"

Duckfeather nodded of approval. "Good job! Any warrior would run away from you with a move like that!"

Pebblepaw stopped and took a deep breath, opening her mouth slightly. "Is that mouse?"

  • Darkstone nodded towards the forest, "I was hunting and I found some fox dropping on the eastern border. They were fresh but when I followed the scent, it lead out of the territory. I'm not sure if it was just passing through, but I thought I should tell you so you could warn the others to keep an eye out."

Spiritkit purred. She was going to be the best fighter in Wolfclan...Ok, maybe not the best....But, hopefully good enough to defend her clan well.

Raindrop looked at his apprentice, "Ready to go explore?" He asked.

Sagetail glanced at Emberpaw, unsure what to do now. he heard Raindrop about exploring and turned to Emberpaw, "Want to see if Raindrop and Foxpaw will let us join them?"

    Racconeye slept soundly.

Dirtpelt nodded, "Good. Show me your hunter's crouch."
