Canopy woke to be in a box.Where am I?He thought.

Aspire sat in her cage, like she has for the last three weeks. The snow leopard saw one of the men turn the corner, with a leopard in his arms. Her ears perked up and she huffed. Aspire pawed at the cage, wanting to warn the leopard to run while she can before she ended up in a cage aswel.

He could sense other big cats around him."Hello?"Canopy called out.

Aspire heard a voice coming from one of the boxes set aside. She frowned deeply, another cat, just like her trapped here. "You have to escape!" She called to him, "Don't become trapped like me." Aspire said to him, urgency filled her voice.

"I cant see!I am in a box!"He called out."My name is Canopy,whats yours?"

"Aspire." She replied to him. "I'm stuck in this cage and can't get out to help you. You need to year down the box with your claws!" She said, "You are much stronger than I am, I am sure." She said to him.

"Okay,"He replied,sinking his claws into the wood.

Aspire watched as she saw his sharp claws pierce through the wood. "You're almost there!" She said to him, her voice excited.

He pushed with all his might,and heard a cracking sound coming from the wall.

Aspire smiled softly, hoping that Canopy would be able to escape the wrath of the men.

The wall fell and canopy bounded out,seeing aspire he leaped over to her cage.

Aspire grinned as she saw Canopy leap out and by her cage. "You have to run now! It's too late to save me." She told him, urging him to leave while he had the chance. Aspire already knew her fate was in the strange men's hands that held her in this cold, iron cage.

"No,I'm not leaving a cat behind..."He said,thinking about his past.

She shook her head, "You must leave! I'll be fine, save yourself!" She urged him, knowing they'd all be caught if he waited any longer.

"No!This is just what happened when I was a kit..."He yowled.

Aspire frowned, he sounded upset. "Please forget me. "

"No,its fine,I was so young and willing to obey my parents...I never saw them again."Canopy said as he backed up into his crate and lied down with a sigh.

Aspire sighed and turned around. Canopy had the chance to run, yet he refused. It angered her that he is wasting such a golden opportunity.

"I hate these humans.First they took mother and father away when I was 3 moons old!Now they take me!"He exclaimed.
