People have always said it would one day come, but few believed it. Few were convinced. Few were prepared. None didn’t realise how close it was getting.
It was nearing Christmas Day, 2030, when something happened in the whole of the world that everyone called “The Darkest Days". From the 20th of December to the 24th of December, it was never light. They couldn’t see the sun. Civilians reported that they heard screaming and groaning at night, and many went missing. Then, on Christmas Day, as if by a miracle, the sun was back. It was celebrated far and wide, and then the next day when people rose, there was an Apocalypse.
Not any Apocalypse, a Zombie Apocalypse. On the first day of it alone, tens of thousands of people from far and wide died. Survivors were advised to stay indoors, board up their house, and use food and water wisely. Using electricity was not recommended, because it could attract the Undead, which were classified as ‘Walking Corpses’ on the radio, but everyone else usually called them ‘Walkers’, ‘Undead’, or simply ‘Zombies’.
The radio kept everyone as updated as possible. They gave all the ways you could kill a Walking Corpse, which was destroying the brain, and how you could become one of them, which was by being bitten, or killed in a way other than having your brain destroyed. When suddenly, on the 5th of January, all updates stopped.
Electricity was completely demolished, not even water would run anymore. This caused more deaths, and more zombies.
So this is where you are now. Boarded up in your own home, with whatever food and water you have left and maybe a shovel or knife to survive.

R U L E S

1) Follow all WCRPG rules
2) Cussing is allowed
3) Please don’t steal the spotlight! Remember, even if your character was one of the people who believed in Zombie Apocalypses like no tomorrow, they wouldn’t start with guns. That’d be like…illegal in these times. And remember, big hero guy usually won’t end well. xD
4) If you’ve read these rules, put ‘Aim for the head’ in the ‘Other’ part of the form.
5) Have fun :3 I don’t want people to be unhappy here (as in OOC, screw the ICs I kid I kid xD)
6) Nothing is able to stop the Zombies from attacking you, aside from killing them and hiding time. By this I mean like having magic powers or something to protect you from the zombies. If you have any complaints, I'll tell you why this is if you PM me.

Y O U R _ E N E M I E S

&& WALKING CORPSES (ZOMBIES)
The Undead. The Walkers. The Walking Corpses. The Zombies.
These guys are pretty self-explanatory. They’re half-rotten corpses stumbling around trying to eat you. These things can be pretty terrifying.
Advantages: Extremely strong, sharp hearing, sharp smell
Disadvantages: Slow, terrible sight
How to kill: Destroy the brain
How to notice: They smell like rotting corpses, and they moan like there’s no tomorrow
Chance of spotting: 99.9%, these guys are everywhere and anywhere

&& OTHER HUMANS
Surprise, surprise, there’s people out there willing to kill you. Whether it’s for supplies or they’ve just gone insane, you need to be extremely careful around other humans, even if it’s your best friend. They could be cannibals, for all you know.
Advantages: Varies between humans
Disadvantages: Same as above
How to kill: They can bleed to death, be shot, hacked, alot of things, basically they can die any way you can
How to notice: It’s hard to spot the difference between a friendly and not so friendly person, until they kill you or try to, so be wary
Chance of spotting: 20%, not alot of you guys left means not much of a chance you’ll find someone else

&& STUMBLERS
Well, that’s what they’re called, anyway. If a Zombie is thrown in fire, and the brain is destroyed there, it will turn into a skeleton and go a blackish colour. They are horrifying, though easier to kill.
Advantages: Hard to kill, horrifying appearance, Extremely good sense of smell
Disadvantages: Slow, no brain means they’ll just stumble anywhere with an instinct to kill
How to kill: Basically you have to take these guys into pieces, then smash those pieces, so a piece of advice is leave them alot
How to notice: They’re freaking walking skeletons it’s not that hard to notice
Chance of spotting: 25%, just over the chance you’d see a fellow human, people might miraculously learn to stop killing zombies with fire

W H E R E _ Y O U _ A R E

You start out in a large town that has been overrun with zombies, unless you’re a latecomer, in which you’ll either be somewhere near the group if one is formed, or still in the town. This town has approximately 5000 zombies inhabiting it, and that’s just in the streets below. There’s probably more stumbling through the houses, for all you know. In fact, that’s a definite. Here’s a hint: start on a second floor or higher if you don’t want to be bitten.
