Spottedkit ran out into the clearing. She could not wait for Tigerkit to come because she was so excited! "I wonder were we will explore?" She thought to herself.

Featherkit wanders out of medidcine cat den. "exploring!" she exclaimed "i'm coming!" featherkit raced over to join spottedkit.

"Hi I'm Spottedkit what is your name?" Spottedkit asked Featherkit. Still waiting for Tigerkit.

"I'm featherkit!" she said happily. "who are you?" she asked, then regretted it when she realized it was a bit rude.

Tigerkit raced out of the nursery. "Let's go!" She declered. She noticed Featherkit. She tipped her head to one side. "Who are you?"

"I just said I'm Spottedkit!" Spottedkit said and looked at Tigerkit. "Lets go! But where are we going to explore?" She asked the two kits.

"i'm featherkit!" she said to tigerkit. "sorry spottedkit..." she said meekly. "i have an idea!" exclaimed featherkit. "lets go to the rockslide!"

"Hey Featherkit!" Tigerkit mewed. She glanced at Spottedkit. "It's up to you" She mewed

Featherkit nodded to tigerkit and looked expectantly at spottedkit.

"Well sure I guess." Spottedkit replied to Tigerkit and Featherkit. "Just asking were is the rock slide?" She asked.

"this way!" said featherkit heading toward the edge of camp with a flick of her tail.

Tigerkit raced after Featherkit. "Come on!" She called to Spottedkit.

"Coming!" Spottedkit yelled out then bounded after them.

Tigerkit bounded over to the Rock Slide beside Spottedkit.

Swankit perked her ears. Should I go with them? Or should I tell a warrior? she asked herself.
"No," she said aloud. "In only a moon I'll be an apprentice. I can wait that long to explore..."

Tigerkit looked back at Swankit. "Come on!" She called.

Swankit hesitated before running after them.

Tigerkit smiled. Now they had one more friend!

Swankit shivered in the cold. She kept thinking she heard her brother calling her, or her mother frantically searching. This is silly! I'm almost an apprentice! I can be out here! she rationalized.
When she got back, she knew Foresteyes would be mad at her.
