She sighed and sat in the shadows near them "she better not say that he likes me again," she growled.

Artemis pulled out his scythe."I found mine as well.." he said

"Cool" Alice said "Whats your name?" she asked "im Alice"

She sighed and looked at the shadows then walked over to them "mind if I sit?" she muttered.

Alice looked at her and grumbled then shrugged

Artemis looked and nodded."Go ahead sit.." he muttered then looked at Alice."Alice? Nice name... Don't laugh at my name...." He said narrowing his eyes. "My name is Artemis..."

Alice sighed "Im not going to laugh at your name, why would anyone laugh at that name anyways?" she said "and im assuming my friend bothered you about you telling her your name a few minutes before, just ignore her" she told him

"I did.. and Artemis sounds like a girls name.." He said

"good, Raini is just a bother, and yes Artemis does sound like a girl name, but if you just ignore the fact it sounds like that it wont be that big of a deal" Alice said

She looked at Alice and sighed then looked away "ok...Guess I cant make friends.."

"oh and you agree with me...thanks?" se sighed "well I guess to be friends I have to say my name...." she took a breath "its Coal...like the mineral.."

Alice shrugged "Its a fine name, both of your names are" she told them

"So Coal creates fire when lit... fire is hot.. so you're hot? I mean not hot like that way but you know hot like uh you know hot...." Artemis said then went quiet."I'll shut up now.." he muttered (Fail... Artemis not very good at socializing nor finding meaning of names...)

Alice rolled her eyes "You didn't mean hot like in good looks"" she said

"No my mom hated me so she wanted to name me after what she hated most so she named me Coal...and she abused me...and she didn't feed me or give me anything to drink...she had me sleep outside on rocks..I had to make my cloths...so I ran away.."
