Occ:sorry about late post. I was in the car yesterday driving to Georgia. Till 2in the morning today.
Ic:She smiled gently and followed the girl. "Do you know why this happened?" She asked the tall girl. A bit scared of what might happen to them.

  • Heather glanced at Tris "We'll find somewhere, hopefully while we still have daylight. Zachs shelter will have to wait till tomorrow, we all need to rest.". Then as she continued on she replied to Koreys question "I haven't the slightest idea why, but it did. We've already got a few survivors here- You, Me, Tris, Zach and Tommy. We should try to find more people who survived the zombies tomorrow aswell". She walked quietly for a little while before finishing "If you see anywhere we could possibly shelter for the night, point it out, there's no stupid places."

  • "Well, any shop. We could set out a guard against the zombies," Tris suggested. She took another syringe from her bag, and injected herself to stop seizure. Pulling sandwiches from her bag, she passed them out to everyone. "Bonn Appetite," she joked softly, then paused, letting them have some time to eat. She didn't touch any food herself, standing, and guarding them in silence.

  • Heather nodded "thanks", pulling a pocket knife from her pocket and cleanly cutting the sandwich in half, giving half to Tommy who'd woken up and was watching them hungrily. "Jeez Tommy, are you never satisfied?!" She teased the little kid. He stuffed the sandwich in his mouth greedily. She looked back up, seeing a small corner-store she pionted at it, "How about over there?" She asked.

  • "No," Tris said. "There," she pointed to a brick store that sold mattresses, and bedding. "It will be safer, more sheltered, and more comfortable. Exhausted, she went inside, and cleared place. "There's no zombies here. I've locked the doors. No lights everyone. Just come in and go to sleep. I'll take first watch," Tris said softly, leading them in. She gave everyone clean clothes she had stolen, and showed them where to change, eat and sleep, then sat in a corner, checking and cleaning her guns.

  • "Omigosh!" Heather sighed, falling back onto one of the bed sets. "This is wa-ay more comfortable than my bed at home!". She sat back up and got Tommy, putting him in one of the little barred in cots "Now you can't run away and cause trouble!" She said, ruffling his hair. Then went back to lie down on the other bed "I'll do next watch" she sighed, happily.

Tommy plonked down and wound the blankets around him like a cocoon. He hugged the teddy-bear Tris had got for him tightly, falling asleep quickly.

  • Tris smiled, letting them all get their rest. She watched in silence, careful to stay hidden, and keep the zombies at baay with her silent tricks. Soon it was time for second watch. Tris looked over at Heather, but didn't wake her, resuming her silent watch and staring at the area around them quietly.

  • Heather jolted awake, sweating and panting hard. She calmed down a bit and glanced over at Tris "Its my watch now" she whispered firmly, nit caring whether it actually was or not.

  • Tris nodded, and stashed her gear by one of the beds. She sat down, and watched the wall, unable to sleep. It was quiet, and safe, but Tris wouldn't lie down, or even attempt trying to sleep. She just sat there, staring at the wall, now leaving the guard work to Heather.

  • Heather sat across from he main doors, watching intently, completely silent. A few zombies stumbled, or ran past not noticing them.

  • Tris' shoulders shook, as she cried softly. She drew her knees to her chest, and balled up, shaking lightly, and crying. Finally, she managed to cry herself into a half sleep. She would nodd off, then jerk back awake every few minutes, tears falling from her eyes.

  • She kept watch, not noticing much else. She was watching an old lady hobble around after a small child. Eventually she caught her and beban to rip into the kid. Heather winced as the distant wailing reached her ears

Ic:korey gently sat on the floor she never slept in a bed before. She liked the floor and she couldn't sleep because of zombies walking around outside. She scooted towards this and poked her gently waiting for her to wake up. "I-i-i`m scared..." She said as tears were forming in her eyes.

  • Tris stood, and left out the back. She walked toward the old lady, eyes black with grief, and anger. She shot at the old woman, killing her in seconds. Turning to the child, she watched it cry, pitying it. Raising her gun, she fired, ending the girl's pain, and saving her from the zombie virus. Tris returned, and began pacing shakily. She looked as if she were about to throw up, or pass out.

Tris sighed, seeing the older girl so shaken, she gently brushed her hair with a comb from the store. "Shh.... Come sleep near Tommy," she soothed, ignoring the fact that she was so outnerved she could barely stand.

  • Heather half smiled, still a little mortified. She knew what Tris did was a good thing, but she'd never really get used to seeing thatsort of thing.

Tommy snuggled deeper into his little nest. Smiling in his sleep

  • Tris sighed weakly, tears filling her eyes, as she turned from Lizzy. She sat down by Heather, and closed her eyes, half hoping it would be easier to sleep next to the older girl. She sighed, afraid Heather would be mad. Tris haf-cringed, shaking slightly in fear.

Ic:She stood up and walked near Tommy and sat down. She finally fell asleep and she had a nightmare of her mom biting her and then she screamed loudly and popped up to find herself shivering and crying. She held her neck and felt over the bump. She shoved her face into her knees and cried even more.

  • Heather smiled warmly "Can't sleep?" She asked kindly, resting her gun on her other side and gazing over at the small girl.

Tommy jerked awake and popped his head out of the blankets. He tried to remember the girls name, "Ok K-k-kor?" He asked

  • Tris nodded shyly, scooting closer to the older girl. She yawned, then looked over at Tom and Liz. She sighed, exhausted, and not wanting to get up. Standing slightly, she walked over, and sedated them both, laying them in bed. "Now, that ought to get them to sleep," she murmured, before collapsing onto a bed, and sleeping for a few hours. She woke up a few hours before morning, looking fresh and rested. nodding to Heather, she smiled. "Need some rest?"
