Zack glared at where the door used to be, sighed and walked inside the house, maybe the zombie hadn't gotten to Ariel yet? He walked cautiously, holding his pistol up, but then he got and idea and said "I'm going to fire off a round and get the zombie to come after up, then we kill it and look and see if your cousin is still alive." Zack doubted it, but it could be worth the try. He fired off a round and waiting, looking at a door, and the stairs next to him, and about 10 seconds later the zombie jumped from the stairs, startling Zack and he fired two rounds, one embedding itself into its skull, and the other into its neck. He watched as it fell to the floor, and said "we better look now, before it starts smelling."
-
She stayed where she was for a moment, drying her eyes. Then she stood up and walked over, then into the house. She studied the mess of a house worriedly, listening for any crying. When she didn't hear any she walked down the hall and entered a small room. There was no need to open the door. It to was torn down, the babys crying must've alerted the zombie. She screamed
-
Zack frowned as he followed her into the room, only to meet a bloody mess that already smelled. "well. if it makes you feel any better, the zombie that killed her is dead." He said knowing it most likely wont help the situation
-
She put her face into he hands, crying softly. She wished her father was there to comfort her. He was a useless dad, sure. But he was her best friend. She shivered slightly as the stench of death invaded her nostrils and filled her lungs. Gross she half-thought.

(Eric has long-ish light brown hair and hazel eyes. He's wearing jeans, black and white sneakers, a red t-shirt and a gray hoodie.)
Eric hastily pried off the metal cover from beneath the steering wheel of the '69 Pontiac. He made sure to glance up through the window every so often to make sure he wouldn't get caught. What Eric was doing wasn't actually legal, but this was a time of crisis. People were running around with guns and knives, trying to defend themselves from the mutant zombies anyway. Nobody would pay attention to some kid hot wiring an old car that the dealership was reselling.
Eric managed to get the metal cover off. He quickly located two wires and began touching them together lightly. The motor hummed and whined, but still didn't want to start. "Come on, come on..." Eric mumbled. He was losing previous time. All of a sudden, shouts from nearby caused Eric to freeze. It sounded like one of those jerk quarentine soldiers. Eric wondered who he was screaming to now. He cautiously looked up through the window just in time to see the soldier ride off on his motorcycle. Eric looked puzzled until he saw a kid about his age standing by the quarentine sign only a few cars away from him.
-
Max rode out for about a mile then turned off the road into the forest. He rode his bike to the back fence of the car dealership. He climbed the fence and jumped to the other side. He went around to the front and parked his bike by the front door It was locked. Then he notice that the Janitors car he was still cleaning he went over to the car. The windshield was covered in blood. The Janitor sat in the drivers seat a chunk of his face missing. He open the car door the Zombie lunged at him but the seat belt held him back. He swung his bat at the janitors head. Three swings and the janitor was dead. He took the keys off the belt and unlocked the door. He went inside and took out his flash light. Mr. Fredrick the owner charged at him he stabbed him in the eye. The rest of the dealer ship was empty.
-
Eric watched in shock as the boy swung the bat at the zombie in the car. Blood was everywhere. It wasn't something that Eric wanted to see, but he couldn't draw his eyes from the scene. The zombie was eventually dead- or, deader, at least. Eric didn't need to know for sure, and he didn't want to go over and find out.
After the janitor stopped moving, Eric noticed the boy take something from the janitor's belt and head to the dealership building's door. He unlocked it and disappeared inside. Eric scoffed. "Good luck getting yourself killed..." he mumbled to himself.
Eric crouched back under the steering wheel and eventually managed to successfully hotwire the car. He was about to pull out of the dealership when something slammed into the side of the car: another zombie. Eric yelled out in surprise, but managed to compose himself enough to put the car in gear. He pulled forward past the zombie and then quickly backed into it. The zombie fell to the ground, but Eric was sure it wasn't dead yet.
-
"we dont need to be in here anymore. i dont think anyways." Zack said as he exited the roomed and jumped off the stairs, creating a loud thump when he landed on the ground.
-
Max ran outside when he heard the scream he saw the stolen car but he was more worried about the pack of zombies eating the solders. He ran back inside and locked the door.
-
Heather nodded and followed him, pulling her hood back up from when it had fallen. "Do you have any idea what to do....or where to go?" She asked Zach, wondering when she'd get to see her dad again.
-
"NOPE!" Zack said enthusiastically. "nah just kidding. the nearest place that would be suitable for setting up a fort." but what he wasnt telling her was that it was hundreds of miles away.
-
"Good!" She sighed, toying with the gun. "D'ya think we'll get there before dark?" She asked, flicking the safety off "....I'm scared of the dark"
-
OOC:
Mind if I join?again i already said people can go ahead and join
IC: "not even close." Zack said, wondering how hundreds of miles could be covered before dark.

(I'm sorry. I read the first post and that's it. Maybe you would be kind enough to modify the title, and put "Open" in it. Thanks, and I'm sorry. next time I'll take a better look.)
Tris had been playing around Jump-street that night, when she saw kids surrounding her. Frowning, she stepped into the light coming from a snack machine, She gasped, seeing that they were dead. The young street kid bit her lip, ran forward, and cartwheeled five times. She flipped, pulling out twin knives, and fighting the horde to the song playing in her earphones. Suddenly, one came from behind her with a huge bat.
Tris quickly rolled under it's feet, and stabbed it through the head. "Help! Anyone!" she screamed. The girl knew that this store was shut down, and she hadn't payed, so technically she wasn't supposed to be here. However, Tris decided getting out alive was her first priority at this point. Jumping onto a trampoline in the closed building, she put her knives away, and revealed two, gleaming black guns. Jumping forward, she flipped, and shot five zombies in the head, then landed gracefully. "HELP!" she called again.

Tris wears a black catsuit, and a leather vest. She has twin guns, and knives, and multiple supplies kept in her leather satchel. She is incredibly fast, flexible, and knows a combination of gymnastics, and martial arts. Since she is a street kid, she has trust issues, but is pretty kind, once you get past her "tough as nails" exterior.
-
She shivered, staring straight ahead. "We'd better get going then" she sighed, quickly glancing over at Zack
-
"as much as i want to tape a small flashlight to my pistol, i dont have a small flashlight, or tape." Zack sighed and started walking in a direction and hope that they wont have to face many zombies.
