xD I guess so :P
Dark's pale lime golden gaze traveled around the pack. No pride shone in his gaze. No emotion. The only look was the same, gazed over dead look his eyes had always carried. The big male shoved his way through the pack wolves, maybe even scratching a few as he went by with the antlers. But then they should not have been so close. His mind was on other things, and his eyes traveled to Crow, and locked in the spot. His face was eerily calm, but strong. Silent, but saying much. Deadly, yet stunning. His face carried all the emotions a wolf would want to, or that they practice for their whole lives. Those who no longer understand my words, will someday realize that I am a broken piece, Dark thought coldly. He wasn't the name wolf he had been two moons ago.....
Two Moons Ago: Dark was romping with his new found brother, Poker. The wolves they came across thought it was... od for two wolves of their age not to be fighting, but playing and rough housing. They were two of a kind. Each knew one another's fears and strengths, hopes and dream, doubts and skills. But they never thought it odd themselves. "Come on dark!", Poker howled rather sharply. His long pluming tail swept the air and his head tipped happily, waiting for his loner friend to catch up.
Dark was puffing behind him, his shorted legs making the trip harder to keep up with this long legged but small bodied wolf. His grunting was rather loud as he crested the top of a large hill; covered in green meadow grass. Dark sighed with gratefulness, and sunk into the soft pillow of the grass, his pads throbbing.
Poker trotted up beside him, hopping lightly from foot to foot. "Come on Dark. We can't stop now." The white and black wolves light voice rang in his ears as Dark opened a tired eye. He rumbled deeply, and cast a look up to the sun. Poker had gotten him to join him on wolves knew what trip, and he did. They had been running for about 3 hours now and Dark was not about to go any further. "You scout ahead Poker. I'm going to sleep."
Poker blinked as if there was a hint of scorn or bitterness in Darks voice. His blue eyes flashed in alarm. "Your not going to leave me, right?" Dark lifted his head and rolled his pale eyes as his adopted brother. "Of course not Poker. We are brothers." Poker seemed happy with that answer and raced away, his tail fanning the air as he went. Dark chuckled a small laugh and curled up into a ball and yawned, letting the warm sun hit his back...
Dark shook his head. He couldn't think about that past time right now. He just couldn't. He didn't want to gore anything or any stupid creature with his bucks antlers. He lifted his head higher, taking the bucks neck with it to keep the dirt and grim from the chunk of exposed meat. He hated Crow. Hated this pack. Crow acted like he owned Dark. Like he was his...mentor. The unfamiliar word sorted through his mind as his glare shot to Crow.
The big black wolf placed the buck down and swiped his tongue around his mouth repetively to wet it and wash the task of deer droppings from his jaws. He watched the Alphas mouth open, but he didn't wait for anything to be said, simply walked away from both alphas and into a den, where he curled up for sleep
