  • xD I guess so :P

Dark's pale lime golden gaze traveled around the pack. No pride shone in his gaze. No emotion. The only look was the same, gazed over dead look his eyes had always carried. The big male shoved his way through the pack wolves, maybe even scratching a few as he went by with the antlers. But then they should not have been so close. His mind was on other things, and his eyes traveled to Crow, and locked in the spot. His face was eerily calm, but strong. Silent, but saying much. Deadly, yet stunning. His face carried all the emotions a wolf would want to, or that they practice for their whole lives. Those who no longer understand my words, will someday realize that I am a broken piece, Dark thought coldly. He wasn't the name wolf he had been two moons ago.....

Two Moons Ago: Dark was romping with his new found brother, Poker. The wolves they came across thought it was... od for two wolves of their age not to be fighting, but playing and rough housing. They were two of a kind. Each knew one another's fears and strengths, hopes and dream, doubts and skills. But they never thought it odd themselves. "Come on dark!", Poker howled rather sharply. His long pluming tail swept the air and his head tipped happily, waiting for his loner friend to catch up.
Dark was puffing behind him, his shorted legs making the trip harder to keep up with this long legged but small bodied wolf. His grunting was rather loud as he crested the top of a large hill; covered in green meadow grass. Dark sighed with gratefulness, and sunk into the soft pillow of the grass, his pads throbbing.
Poker trotted up beside him, hopping lightly from foot to foot. "Come on Dark. We can't stop now." The white and black wolves light voice rang in his ears as Dark opened a tired eye. He rumbled deeply, and cast a look up to the sun. Poker had gotten him to join him on wolves knew what trip, and he did. They had been running for about 3 hours now and Dark was not about to go any further. "You scout ahead Poker. I'm going to sleep."
Poker blinked as if there was a hint of scorn or bitterness in Darks voice. His blue eyes flashed in alarm. "Your not going to leave me, right?" Dark lifted his head and rolled his pale eyes as his adopted brother. "Of course not Poker. We are brothers." Poker seemed happy with that answer and raced away, his tail fanning the air as he went. Dark chuckled a small laugh and curled up into a ball and yawned, letting the warm sun hit his back...

Dark shook his head. He couldn't think about that past time right now. He just couldn't. He didn't want to gore anything or any stupid creature with his bucks antlers. He lifted his head higher, taking the bucks neck with it to keep the dirt and grim from the chunk of exposed meat. He hated Crow. Hated this pack. Crow acted like he owned Dark. Like he was his...mentor. The unfamiliar word sorted through his mind as his glare shot to Crow.
The big black wolf placed the buck down and swiped his tongue around his mouth repetively to wet it and wash the task of deer droppings from his jaws. He watched the Alphas mouth open, but he didn't wait for anything to be said, simply walked away from both alphas and into a den, where he curled up for sleep

  • Crow narrowed his yellow eyes at how cold Dark was. What's with him? he asked himself, annoyed, Does he not care about joining the pack at all? Then why agree to my offer? Or is he still against the idea of being respectful to the alpha? Crow watched as a bunch of wolves gathered around the buck curiously and observed it.
"Hey! What's with this missing part?" A wolf suddenly shouted. Other wolves turned to where he was looking.
"Yeah! Did he eat some himself on the way here?! He may have caught something impressive, but that doesn't mean he can eat it before the pups and older wolves!" Another wolf growled, clearly annoyed. "Show-off!" More and more wolves agreed with him and their looks of awe changed to disgust and irritation. The group of wolves all either stalked away, took a bit for themselves, or stayed nearby to watch the others.
Crow turned away and stalked out of camp. So much hate in those eyes. Even more than... he immediately stopped himself, about to think "me." He refused to think about his past, and he wasn't about to let some rogue wolf remind him of it. Crow's annoyed eyes turned into a glare. If he hates this pack so much, then why did he agree to join? I was trying to be nice to him, but I guess you can't be nice to rogue wolves, Crow spat in his mind, Well, if he hates me so much, then I won't hide how much he irritates me! See if I care if he leaves. Just because he had a bad past doesn't mean he can be such an aggravating furball!
Crow closed his eyes and calmed himself before he re-opened them. He would hunt to occupy himself and forget about Dark. He sniffed the air, trying to find a prey scent. He wasn't aiming for anything big like a deer or a moose. He would probably be too angry--and therefore too reckless--to catch prey like that. It wasn't like he couldn't, but that he wasn't going to even bother trying. Right now, a rabbit or another small piece of prey would satisfy him. Dark had already caught that buck, and he didn't need to catch another one. He didn't want too much prey that would eventually rot. Then it would be wasting prey, and Crow hated wolves who played or wasted their prey.

  • Dark listened, but kept his eyes tight shut. These wolves were the reason he didn't like packs. They were so bound on rules. He as willing to bend the rules for save lives, but these idiots were focused on themselves. And only a pound was gone. . Barely that. He snareld when a wolf bellowed a insult at him. The pack wolf bit his ears. Dark let hell brake loose.

He roared like a lion, hearing it echoe through the forest. The pack was shocked that a wolf so shut out could make so much noise from one bit. His black mount opened, showing the always hidden white daggers behind the screen. The other wolf snarled back, and reared up to meet him. Upendi's lips pulled back to. "Your not fit to be a pack wolf!" Her howl was deep. No one ever voiced to her, for she was a smart, strong wolf, heart in right place. But mad, she was blinded.
Dark hissed back, and watched her downward blow strike. His body dropped down and he slipped under a blow, snarls escaping both their mouths. His jaws clamped on her collar bones and he thrust her back and reared, flipping her over him. He himself crashed to the ground as he did, but while it dazed her, it had little to no effect on him.

"You are in no position to tell me my place!" His hooked claws raked her cheek and blood welled up. ""You Don't know me!." the now louder roar blew from his mouth, and Upendi ducked, flipping over in submission. The fight lasted 1 minute. Dark lashed his tail

  • The black wolf's usually calm yellow eyes widened when he heard a loud roar echo through the forest, even reaching him. His hackles immediately raised and he whipped around and dashed back to camp. What the heck was happening?! Who had roared as loudly and as angrily as that?! Crow shoved his head through the entrance to the camp and what he saw made his blood turn cold. One of the pack wolves, a female named Upendi, was covered in blood and scratches, and she was bowing down submissively to Dark, who looked battered as well, but not to the extent that Upendi was. There were so many things wrong with what Crow saw. No one ever voiced to Upendi, and it was obvious that Dark had been responsible for her wounds. Pack wolves weren't allowed to turn on each other!!
There were a bunch of wolves gathered around, but they were still a distance away from the two wolves, as if they didn't want to get involved in the fight or injured either. Many wolves had looks of outrage on their faces, and others either looked scared or horrified. Crow shoved his way past the other wolves to glare at Dark angrily. What would Tides and Icicle say about this?! And he had even bothered to show Dark around the territory and try to help him become a pack member! Crow didn't say anything; his blazing yellow eyes said it all. He felt like something within him snapped. Why had he even bothered trying to recruit this wolf?! What had he been thinking?!

  • Dark didn't care about that enranged howls of these pack wolves, his range was on Upendi. " Never say that to me again mutt." he snarled." he was tough. It was clear he was smart, strong, but short fused. this mite didn't know what his life was like, or that he was forced to kill his own brother...
His pale, burning eyes stormed overhead.
He stalked away from her, and spiraling down from the trees cam a egal. No longer the delicate falcon, but a full eagle. It's eyes carried the same fire Dark's did.

He shoved past the wolves, and looked up when Tides blocked his path. His lips curled and a rumble in his chest began

Tides narrowed his eyes, and he snarled back, only deeper

  • Crow watched Tides with amazement. His Alpha would surely set things right, right? Crow then glanced at Upendi, wondering what she had said that had angered Dark so much. He returned his gaze to Tides and wondered what he would do and how easily he would defeat Dark.

  • Tides rose his snarl, and was surely surprised when Darks voice came booming from his chest, louder and more powerful then Tides. Tides arched his neck and pricked his ears, and forced his long legs to get straight to rise over Darks mass. His tail lifted, but never curled since no pure wolf can do that. His amber eyes glower against his dark grey fur.
Dark's own amber eyes glowed back, but he lowered his tail; a submissive sign. Until his mind flickered. He stood taller, and snarled at tides again, snapping at the alpha. With that, his tail curled; he was a wolf dog. One of the most deadly hybrids to humans and other packs. They have the strength of a wolf, the power and lust for the rush for the kill. Their bodies are compacted killing machines. These creatures are not a good mix. With the ability to become wolf, and cunning like a dog; the sweet, playful side can change when wolf takes over.

Tides eyes flashed with the slightest hint of worry. He bared his fangs, and snapped back, his teeth clashing against dark. both rose up in union with front legs striking, tails lashing and agility seen as they kept up the stance on sturdy back legs. The fight wasn't good. If Dark beat Tides, he would become alpha
Tides understood this within a few moments. Dark didn't care at all. This wolf though he owned Dark. But he was about to see just ho wrong he really was

  • The other wolves watched, speechless and in awe. It was obvious that most of them were rooting for Tides to win. They didn't want Dark to become the Alpha, and they still didn't forgive Dark for attacking Upendi. Crow was one of the wolves watching, his yellow eyes narrowed. There was no way Dark stood a chance against Tides, right? And Dark couldn't become the Alpha if he wasn't an actual member of the pack yet, right?

  • Tdies and dark broke apart, none gazping for breath. They cirled, snarls blasting each wolves ears out as they lunged for each other again

    Dark:
Dar watched the large alpha go for his throat to pin him and show his dominance. He tucked his head to his chest, and opened his jaws, pointing his head forward as Tides teeth smashing into his. The large black male felt pain in his upper gum line. It wasn't a normal pain either. But he shook it from his mind when a snap and pain was felt around his broad shoulders. Tides had dashed behind him while he was thinking about his gum aching, and was now half way onto his back, back paws slashing at his ribs cages. Dark roared another bellow, and lunged for Tides tail

    Tides:
Tides felt terriable pain lace up his spine, and exit his mouth with another loud snarl. His green eyes saw from their near blind spot, Dark had sunk his fangs into the tender area. He let go to the set of shoulders, and turned sharply on his hind feet, but kept his tail there. This wolf dog that had is tail was a good fighter; a sharp enemy. Right there, he couldn't help but admire his power and that he showed no fear. He jumped int the air, ripping his tail free and slashing at Darks ears, getting a few blows in before landing.

    Dark:
Dark watched in awe as the huge bulk flew into the air like a eagle... eagle! Darks mind raced for a split second, and thought of a eagle. Swooping low and using it's long talons to rip prey from the earth. With that in mind, Dark jumped straight up into Tides way. He noticed that when the alpha saw this, he reached out to pin him. However dark twisted under him in mid air, and reached out with a front right paw, and hooked the alphas regal neck fur in his claws. he yanked his paw back to him, and at the same time rolling the alpha in mid air and watched him land straight on his shoulder with a loud thump. There, the two males shared a look.

    Tides:
Tides eyes met Darks, and he stood, a slight limp coming into his left leg and his left shoulder throbbing. He flicked his tail to the other male. He was powerful as well. Not as powerful as Tides, but witty. His wits. That was what made him so deadly the dog wits. He was glad to see the slightly smaller back male stalk after him into the alphas den. Both were bleeding badly. Nothing left in the clearing showed of the fight, except of the blood and a single tooth

  • Waiting for crow...

  • OOC: I'M SORRY! SCHOOL!!! That's the reason I haven't gone on or replied at all!! \( >0< )/

IC: Crow stood there, staring with wide yellow eyes. He didn't know what to think, and he didn't know what to do. Had Tides won? Or had Dark won? The black wolf just stood there, his hackles raised and his mind whirling. It seemed he wasn't the only wolf paralyzed with shock and confusion, as the other wolves that had been watching didn't say a word or even move either; they all just stared with confused eyes, trying to figure out who had won. It had been an impressive battle, and both wolves had been formidable opponents... However, why had they both entered the alphas' den? What was Tides thinking?! If he had won, wouldn't Dark have been driven away already? Or was he... Crow shut his eyes, trying not to think of it. Was...was Tides so impressed with Dark that he was going to let him join?! But what about Upendi?!
Crow wondered whether to stalk away or just wait for the result. Deciding that he wouldn't be able to bear it if he didn't find out what happened, Crow settled for waiting patiently for the outcome of the battle. The other wolves seemed to have the same train of thought as him, as they didn't move a muscle and just simply sat down. Crow sat down as well, feeling as if he would collapse if he stood any longer. That loner had caused so much trouble for the pack ever since he appeared! Hopefully Tides wasn't going to let Dark join, because Crow had finally decided that he would no longer tolerate him. He was fed up with Dark, and the other wolves didn't seem to like him much either. In a rare act of impatience, Crow stared at the ground and scored his claws down it, leaving a large scar on the ground. He couldn't wait any longer!

  • Tides and dark remained in the den until the sun rest low in the trees and darkness threatened to swamp over the land. When they emerged, nothing was heard or seen. Only two sets of eyes gleamed in the dark. Tides green eyes against Dark's amber red eyes. They each blinked in turn and a soft thumping was heard as the two padded to the middle of the camp, but Dark trailing back a bit.
Dark had seemed to be built up different now, Head high, but still lower then tides, tail high, but nothing compared to Tides; he was submissive.
Tides watched the change from inside his den and was now pleased as he saw darks face; calm and slightly happy. The alpha smiled gently, though the darkness covered it. He was glad it did...
"I have come to a dissision." he roared, opening his air ways and a gaping mouth to echo his call.
"Dark will be part of our pack."

  • During the whole wait, Crow had been furiously scratching at the ground. When the alpha female had come up to him, he had just simply nodded without a word. Finally, both Dark and Tides left the den. Crow looked up from the scratched up ground, his yellow eyes giving away how anxious he was. His mind was whirling with all the possibilities of what Tides would say. He looked relieved when Dark was finally, at last, submissive, and the rest of the wolves seemed to share his sense of relief. Tides had done it! He had tamed the untamable! However, he narrowed his eyes at what that possibly meant. Why was Dark being submissive? Crow's black ears pricked up and he listened intently, his full attention on Tides, when Tides announced that he had come to a decision.
However, he felt all of his hopes get crushed and his hackles raise when Tides announced that Dark was part of their pack. Dark was going to be his packmate!! Crow's yellow eyes had widened in horror and the black male tried to suppress his protests. What about what Dark had done?! Had Tides even thought of that?! What about Upendi?! Dark would probably betray the pack the very next day!! Why had Tides decided to let him join?! Crow forced himself not to howl in anger and despair. At least he didn't seem to be the only one suffering from having to hold himself back. The other wolves were furiously digging their claws into the ground, and it was obvious that they were also trying to suppress their protests. The Alpha's word was law, however, and Crow wasn't about to break that rule because of some stupid loner!
But...why?! After what Dark had done, Crow no longer trusted the black wolf, and he wasn't going to give him another chance. Why should he give some stupid loner that had caused so much trouble a second chance?! He knew that Dark hated him, and Crow was no longer going to try to be nice to him. Crow was going to show how much he detested Dark as well, and how he didn't care what Dark thought of him. He wasn't going to let that annoying and arrogant wolf ruin his life! Crow decided on one thing then: he was going to avoid Dark and ignore him unless it was necessary to talk to him. Crow was going to have nothing to do with the new member.
