    Welcome to our home, Pride of the Goddess Adenrele


    The pride was created many generations ago, by a goddess that came down from the heavens and to Earth in the form of a lioness. The goddess' name was Adenrele. Adenrele was the goddess of nature and balance. She handcrafted her children and gave them all names, Chui(Leopard), Duma(Cheetah), Tau(Lion), Yagar(Jaguar), and Jike(Tiger). Adenrele created each of her children to be an element of nature, the leopard was the night, the cheetah was the air, the lion was the day, the jaguar was the water, and the tiger was the fire. The goddess created more of the species in order to make the pride large and strong, and that is when she disappeared. The pride expanded rapidly in numbers, for the big cats began to make their own kin. Tigers would breed with tigers, lions would breed with lions, etc. Until one female cheetah had cubs with a male jaguar. Hybrids were thought to bring misfortune and evil, because their lack of element and power. But little did the pride know that hybrids had the elemental power of nature, like the the goddess Adenrele herself. Now the pride today is filled with the "The Original Descendant Species" and "Adenrele's True Children".

    Plots: Everybody in the pride thinks Uzuri was an abandoned cub, and that Topazi took her in. But Uzuri should think that Topazi was her birth mother. Maybe, later on in the roleplay, she could start thinking of Topazi as her birth mother less and less, and finally, she'll find out what happened... *So guys your characters know she was adopted, but please don't tell Uzuri. SHE'LL FIND OUT ON HER OWN.

    Topazi padded out in the savanna, the long grass brushing against her pelt. The queen observed the camp attentively as she laid down under a small Acacia tree to cool down. Her long tail occasionally flicking to the side. The fresh kill pile came into view and all that was left was a small gazelle. "Mseto, we need more food." she ordered to her brother.


    Mseto nodded at his older sister's orders and began to walk further into the savanna, the sun shining down on his amber pelt. A while later, he spotted a small herd of wildebeests.

    Sefu padded into the shade of a large rock. Having just reached maturity, the young lord wasn't entirely sure how he could pull it off, he knew he was smart and could probably advise his queen. he had a lot on his mind. he laid down basking his body in the cool shade of the rock.


    OCC: DON'T KILL THE ZEBRA'S! They are my second favorite animal! but then again that's just the circle of life. I'm still unhappy with your decision.

    Glancing around, I yawned softly before continuing to scan through my herbs. After I was finished, I laid next to the pile, golden brown gaze sweeping across the savanna. Wrapping my tail around myself, I watched as a flock of birds flew off, wings gracefully flapping.

    Rising to my paws, I left my cubs and padded over to my adopted sister. When I was a cub, my mother, Inaria, had taken her in. We've been close like sisters ever since. Sitting down next to her, I earned a soft hello from her before I smiled softly. After talking to her for a while, I soon padded back towards my cubs and the nursery.

    IC: Topazi suddenly jumped up to her paws, "Monique! What is wrong? Are you hurt?!" Her eyes looking all over her daughter, searching for injury.

    Mseto eyed the herd, and slowly started to crouch down on his haunches. Stalking as quietly as he could, the liger watched the animals, searching for a vulnerable wildebeest. An elderly wildebeest was spotted, it's ankle clearly damaged. Mseto's legs burned with anticipation, ready to burst into action.

    OCC: I don't care if they kill Zebras I was just being dramatic.... I do things like that sometimes... but wildebeasts are larger than zebras, I think... More meat!


    IC: Sefu stood up as he noticed mseto ready for the hunt and slowly padded up behind him "Think I can help?" he asked in a quiet tone

    I stood, rising to my paws, hearing the frantic voice of my crush, Topazi. I padded over, flicking my tail. "Hey- What's the matter?" I asked, in my deep, handsome voice. Being a Liger, I couldn't help but think about how rare Ligers are. And how pretty she was....

    Rising to my paws at the sounds of my sister's frantic voice, I grumbled, "What's all the hubbub?" I blinked the sleep away from my eyes- wake up call. Really? Monique was such a whiney liger sometimes..

    At the sound of Alaysha's name, I shook my head to clear my thoughts from Topazi. "Where is she?" I asked quickly, but calmly. I didn't want anyone else to panic. I started to think of the many places the femme could be, but only one place where she could be planted itself in my head..

    Mseto closed his eyes in concentration, his paws soon turned into hard hooves, horns sprouted from his skull, and his snout stretched. Mseto's wildebeest form slowly walked towards the herd, "Whatever you do... stay calm." he called out, communicating with the herd. He closed his eyes again, his liger body taking over. Mseto sprinted towards the old wildebeest, attaching his claws onto it's hind. He leaped onto it's back and then securing his jaws around it's neck.

    At the mention of someone sick, Amalia headed towards the small group, her ears pricked with slight interest; after all, her job was to heal the sick. Her golden brown eyes were bright with concern as she remained silent.

    Her topaz colored gaze flicked towards Jelani. "I have no clue where Alaysha is." she said in a deeply concerned tone. Topazi whipped her head around searching for her pride member. "Amalia do you know where she is?" the queen asked.

    "She is by the gathering tree. She said for me to get help. She must of been bitten by a Black Mamba Snake or something. Please, you must help her." Alaysha was a dear from of mine, and I couldn't let her die.

    My eyes darted over to Amalia. "Come." I said. I turned tai land darted away like a speeding bullet, my legs carrying me as fast as they could. I raced past the camp, and to the gathering tree; Alaysha's form began to reach my vision as I got closer to the tree.

    I nodded, and trailed after him. I sped through the savanna before we came across Alaysha. Skidding to a stop, I hurried towards the she-cat. "Do you know what happened?" I asked, setting down the gathered herbs I had brought.

    Mseto chomped down even hard until he felt the animal go limp, as if the life had been drained out of it. He released his tight grip on it's neck and smiled triumphantly at Jefu. "Good job." he said with a smile. The male grabbed it by the leg and started to slowly drag it back for the others to eat.
