She takes a few more bites before standing up.

"so how are you feeling?" shadow asks

"Well I don't know tell me." She says looking at him.

Shadow looks at her confused "what?"

"Never mind." She says standing up on three legs.

shadow licks her paw "I'm guessing it still hurts" he whimpers

"Yeah..only a bit." She says

Shadow licks her paw again "I want to ask you something"

"Yes?" Ghost asks looking at him.

"will you be my mate please?!" he asks

Ghost looks a him. "Shadow......" She says

Shadow whimpers "I'm sorry!! I should of never asked" he whimpers

"It's not that I don't want to be your mate its just........it's its that I am not ready." She says sadly.

Shadow whimpers "o-ok" he sighs and walks out of the den and to a river he lays down and stares at his reflection and tries not to cry
