But the series ended saying that the aliens would invade on the Mayan doomsday prediction (2012) and my friend and I watched it on the last day of December, which was kind if funny because we were just like "lol, nope!"[/fancypost]

It was a weird way to end the series though, because for nine seasons they have you believing that the government is making trades with these aliens, and that the government are about to let the aliens attack the planet, but then within the last five minutes it's like the writers said "Screw it, we can't think of anything better to end it with. Just do 2012" So it ended with "the government has been stalling the aliens, but even they can't stop 2012" And then it ended. [/fancypost]
