  • ~Nike~
I looked down slightly, and slowly looked around. I shook my head quickly and ran off. I knew he was upset, even though he was trying to hide it. I made my way around a few corners and came upon Dean sleeping on the sidewalk. "Oh for the love of god..." I muttered in disappointment. "Just like your dad...."

  • Cortland glares at the door and he slams it. he walks to the drivers side and he sits in the driver seat, staring at the wheel. He couldn't leave her.... he had to take her back home.... He sighs softly and waits, somewhat fiddling with his thumbs, literally.

  • Dean moaned, clutching his aching head in his hands. He could hear muffled voices but found it hard to make sense of any of them. He looked around bleary eyed, making out the shape of a dark figure standing before him.
"What?" He snapped, though every sound pounded in his ears. Why couldn't people just leave him alone? He groaned, figuring it was probably one of the hotel staff telling him to get off his ass and move it.

  • I sighed deeply, and leaned down besides the obviously delirious boy. "Dean... It's Nike.." I said in a very soft tone. "Come on... sit up... and even throw up if you can... You need to get this sh*t out of your system,..." I added in a very quiet tone. I then wrapped my arms around him and lifted him up to the best of my ability and leaned him against the wall. 'This reminds me of when I had to take care of his dad...' I thought to my self.

  • "What tthhhhhe...?" He mumbled, his head spinning as he was lifted to his feet. He leaned unsteadily against the wall, knees buckling underneath him every so often. He stared at the figure, narrowing his eyes in an attempt to make out their features, having not heard her speak.

  • My eyes narrowed in anger at the boy then slowly began to turn into bright yellow wolf eyes. Only Dean could piss me off this much. "Damn it!" I yelled at him. Before I knew it, my hand way flying through the hair at his face. After a moment, a loud clap sound was heard as my palm connected with his cheek. "Snap out of it Dean!" I screamed.

  • Dean tumbled to the ground, loosing balance completely, and lay flat on his back with arms outstretched to either side.
"Oww?" He muttered, then suddenly burst into a fit of laughter, "That all ya got?" He gave a dopey grin, not even bothering to get to his feet- not that he could in his state.
"You're a hotel whatevermajig, go get frying pan from the kitchen or sumfin'." He waved her away, completely unaware of the situation.
"Where'sss sister person? Soapie or whatevers... Did they tell her?" Panic suddenly crept into his eyes, "She was... wasn't supposed to know..... didn't wan't her to know."

  • I glared at him with deadly eyes then quickly looked away. I was seconds away from completely losing it, and for the first time ever in public. At a time like this, I needed someone else in the pack to calm me down, but now I was on my own. I slowly looked back at Dean and tried to keep my voice calm. "It's... Nike..." I muttered.

  • "Michael," Dean mumbled, completely ignoring Nike, "He saw. He saw what I did. He went to the cafe to tell her..." His eyes grew wide, and he suddenly lunged at Nike, gripping her shoulders tightly and shoving her against the wall.
"Where is she?!" He gasped, mind beginning to clear slightly, "I need to know where she is!"

  • Once he grabbed me and smashed me against the wall....I lost it. I swiftly grabbed his arms, and turned the two of us around, smashing his against the wall much harder than he had done to me. "Don't grab me like that!" I screamed at him in a pissed way. I glared into his eyes darkly and gritted my teeth. "I don't know where your damned sister is! Plus, it's not my fault your turning out just like your damned father!"

  • Dean gasped, the force of the wall knocking the air out of his lungs. He stared at her for several moments, his expression blank, emotionless, until- without warning- he struck her hard across the face.
"Shut the f*ck up, you don't know anything!" He roared in her face, fists trembling as he tried to control himself, but still being under the influence of drugs he was increasingly unpredictable, "I know I'm turning out like my father, and believe me I've been trying not to. I've been lying to myself, pretending I'm nothing like him- but really, I've been like him since before I can remember. I guess I've just given up telling myself lies." He hissed, face mere centimetres from hers, cold eyes boring into her, then in a softer tone he continued, "I found out recently that my dad had killed his parents too. I hadn't even known I was doing it, but I still managed to do exactly what he did... And I'm still doing it." He whispered the last part, gazing into the distance at some far off place, "I know you want to kill me, and seriously, you'd be doing the world a favour if you did."

  • When he struck me, I looked off to the side momentarily, tears filling my eyes. 'Did he really just hit me?' I thought in a whispers. I slowly looked back forward, but was only met with his vicious eyes. I listened to him talk quietly, but said nothing at all. Slowly, then tears began to roll down my cheeks as we stared into each others eyes. One side of me wanted to just kiss his crazy as*, while the other wanted to choke him to death. I looked down quietly, then slowly pulled him into my arms in a calming manner. "Just please don't do this ever again..." I whispered as my eyes returned to their usual light brownish, green color.

  • Dean never said a word for what seemed like forever, and instead continued to stare off into space.
"She's never going to talk to me again..." He murmured finally, pulling away and lifting his hand to his face. He looked to Nike, now, having completely given up with everything.
"I did something Nike... I needed to talk to Electra, but Sophie insisted on coming along. I couldn't let her know, but Michael... I never knew he would turn up..." He drifted off again, deep in thought, "I need to know where she is so I can explain." He muttered, raking his mind for where she might be, but everything was still muddled and bleary from the drugs.
"Your brother- not brother- boy... friend... thing..... he'll be waiting." He mumbled, concentrating more on where his sister could be, "Not the hotel, she'd be out looking for me..." He huffed to himself.

  • I just stared at him quietly, not knowing what to say. The feeling of wanting to choke him out disappeared. I sighed softly and looked down, then slowly looked back up at him. I slowly leaned forward, then lightly placed my lips onto his. Hopefully, this would soothe him a little bit. After a minute or two, I closed my eyes and relaxed a little.

  • Dean paused for a long moment as Nike's lips met with his, and suddenly all the thoughts disappeared. Without realising what he was doing he pulled her back towards him and pressed his lips tightly to hers, leaning back again as soon as he became aware of himself again.
"Dammit, what did I just do?" He hissed to himself, suddenly spinning round and heading swiftly down the road, almost falling over in the process.

  • I blashed slightly when he pulled me closer, then opened my eyes. After he let, I just stood there, staring at the ground. "What did I just do..." I whispered to myself in a very quiet tone. I slowly looked over at Dean and decided it would be best to apologize. I sighed softly ad quickly went after him. After a few minutes I caught up to him and stepped in front of him. "Dean... I'm sorry..." I said softly, and sincerely.

  • "I told you, I need to go. You should too." He muttered quickly, stepping to the side and walking around her, "And you don't need to say sorry." He sighed, turning the corner and crossing the road- almost getting run over in the process.

ooc: Sorry, don't have time to type much right now.

  • I turned around and watched him leave quietly. I then looked down slightly and sighed. I walked back to where I was before, then came across the same alley where Dean had went, with all the crackheads. I looked down the dark alley and noticed them waving me over, telling me to join them. I looked down slightly, then back up. I then took off down the alleyway. After about two hours of being with them, I was completely out of it, and loving it.

  • "Sophie... Sophie..." Dean groaned as he trudged along the pavement, his head throbbing, "Where the hell is she?!" He roared, eyes zooming in and out of focus as he glanced around. He gave another moan, throwing his arms in the air.
"I give up. He can tell her whatever the hell he wants, I really don't care any more." He sighed, slouching against the wall and holding his head in his hands, "She's probably already found out anyway..."
He dropped his hands by his sides, wincing as the glare of the street lights blinded him momentarily.
"Can't even think straight..." He muttered, rubbing his eyes, the thought of Nike suddenly coming back into mind.
"Why the f*ck did I have to do something like that?" He hissed quietly, stumbling into the shadows before dropping down beside a heap of rubbish. He sighed, hoping he hadn't managed to ruin the relationship she was in by doing what he did.
"I guess that's what I do. I ruin everyone's damn lives." He murmured, producing his knife from his pocket and watching it glint in the light from the street lamps.
