    Shade paw looked around. She shouldn't have been gone for so long. He started to worry.

    Breezestar came back out of the bushes with a mouse in her jaws. "I'll take this back to camp, Splashfur, you keep leading this patrol," she ordered firmly, looking at her best friend before walking in the direction of camp. She spotted Shadepaw just outside the camp and she blinked. "Hello," she meowed awkwardly. "Where's Sweetherb?" she asked.


    Splashfur nodded, watching her friend leave, she turned to the patrol. "How about we split up into a hunting group?" she asked them, her tail-tip twitching. "Acornfang, Swiftfire and I will be one hunting group, the rest of you can hunt together," she meowed innocently.

    Shadepaw jumped at the sound of Breezestar. "i-i don't know. i was hoping she would get back soon. Rosevine is really close to kitting." he told her.

    Ic: Breezestar nodded. 'I see, but I'm sure she's taught you well enough to deliver kits,"

    Splashfur twitched an ear. "This won't be awkward, I couldn't help overhearing," she murmured, liking how this was going. Breezestar and I are so mean to younger cats she thought, her whiskers twitching.

    Brokenpaw slid out of the Apprentice's den,jaws stretched in a ywan.

    Breezestar spotted Brokenpaw. She woke up too late, Acornfang's already left on a hunting patrol! "Brokenpaw, you're mentor's hunting with Splashfur and Swiftfire, you might be able to find them," she meowed, dipping her head. She turned back to Shadepaw.

    Brokenpaw raced out of camp,her muscles protesting at being used so soon after she woke. She pressed on,and finally foubd Acornfang's hunting patrol.

    Splashfur saw Acornfang's apprentice Brokenpaw. "Oh, lookie here!" she beckoned her tail and making sure her expression was hidden from Acornfang. She winked. "How about I take you hunting, Swiftfire and Acornfang can hunt together," without waiting for an answer, she quickly dove into a bush and started walking, but then stopped for the young apprentice to catch up.

    Brokenpaw easily kept pace."Ooo! They'll be so cute together!"she gossiped.

    Splashfur nodded. "I'm trying to get them together," she confessed. "So shush shush, no telling your mentor!" she meowed.
