Firekit wiggled into his mother belly.

Rosepetal purred and began to lick the kits.

Rosepetal nodded then lay down in the nest next to Sunstripe's.

Heatherkit, full, nestled against Sunstripe's belly fur and slept. Complaining once as Firekit wriggled.

Sunstripe purred and looked down at her 4 kits, firekit, flamekit, heatherkit, and pine kit." thank you Rosepetal that would be nice." she licked each of her kits on the head.

Heatherkit rolled over on her back, wanting her stomach rubbed.
((we could go to the next day or a week or so into the future when the kits are old enough to talk, but not old enough to be off their mother's milk))

Sunstripe used her nose to rub Heatherkits belly, purring.

))Heatherkit was sitting on the edge of Sunstripe's nest. "Can we go outside today?" she asked, looking up at her mother hopefully.
Her and her littermates, Firekit, Pinekit, and Flamekit, were about 2 moons old now, and had yet to go outside as the snow had been too deep. -
Pinekit jumped out into the snow and was sunk deep into a drift but he moved using his strong back legs to push off the ground.

Sunstripe Pinekit up out of the snow, "not today my little kits." she brought him back inside. "its still to cold out."
