[font=georgia][color=black]I remember the first day of this school year... Everybody was scrambling about trying to figure out which class they were supposed to go to and kept forgetting which locker was theirs. XD It was pretty funny watching all the kids running through the halls when they'd accidentally went to the wrong class.

  • Lol, reminds me of my first academy days and my little cluster of friends when looking for Chemistry class found ourselves inside the clock tower amazingly enough which is the opposite side of the massive building too XD

[font=georgia][color=black]Lol XD On the first day some friends and I were trying to find the class for study hall and ended up in the principal's office XD The study hall room is in a different building from where our other six classes are. But I don't even have study hall anymore because I have to ride a bus back over to elementary at that time to go to my gifted class.

And by 'gifted' I don't mean special needs or anything, its kinda like the Beta Club. XD

  • Lol, and cool.

Over here in Britain we don't get gifted classes... unless you're super rich but I've seen those gifted classes and it actually makes smart kids stupid so it's a waste of time ¬_¬

[font=georgia][color=black]Over in Mississippi you don't have to pay to be in gifted classes. If you have good enough grades they'll test you and if you pass you get in. I barely passed myself but I got in.

[font=georgia][color=black]Yeah, I'm proud of myself. XD But if my freaking math grades don't get better they might kick me out.....

  • I do find that annoying that they're threatening you over your maths grades. I was never good at maths but I excelled with all other subjects. Though it's always handy having maths under the belt, any grade would do.

[font=georgia][color=black]Math is difficult for me this year already. We barely have enough time to go over our work and ask questions and things like that and we do something different each day so I barely get enough time to learn it. In any other class I'd know it in a day and not have to study. I've literally almost never had to study in my life because I learn fast.

  • Remember to let the teachers/tutors know what's happening, sometimes they will sit with you to go over things in more detail like during lunch times or breaks. Heck, even get someone in the class who knows what they're doing to help you.

What are you currently doing in maths just now anyway?

[font=georgia][color=black]My cousin's ex-girlfriend's sister is a math tutor and I'm going to ask her for help soon since I'm friends with her. Most of my best friends are in gifted with me so they help me during free time in gifted.

And right now we're doing order of operations and the distributive property, which is extremely easy for me even though it's the hardest for most kids. XD

  • Cool, remember to ask for help rather than leaving it until it's too late. I've made that mistake.

I remember those things, been years since I had to deal with that XD

[font=georgia][color=black]I'll make sure to ask then, last year our math teacher made me far too nervous to ask questions because she was rather mean... But thankfully this year our math teacher is nice. Most of the teachers are really nice, actually.

We did it a little last year, if I can remember correctly, so I have some experience dealing with it. XD

[font=georgia][color=black]Yeah, this year has gone pretty smoothly so far. Except for an incident last week where I was caught 'talking and cheating' during a stupid test. Everybody in the front of the class was talking and my friend Jared called out 'I got like three of the answers from those posters right there!' so of course I turned around to look. And it just so happened Julie was sitting behind me at the time. Well, about five minutes later Mrs. Megan called Julie, another girl, and I out into the hall and gave us zeros on our tests and yelled in our faces about how we were talking and cheating. The other girl hadn't even looked at us during the entire test and Julie and I hadn't said a word to each other. Then of course we got sent to to principal for 'lying'... Mrs. Megan is crazy...

[font=georgia][color=black]Yeah DX Unfortunately I'm almost always one of the kids that gets picked on.
