Matria jumped off the tree and tried to fly to the next one, her wings being too small for her to fly well yet.

The Doctor scrambled up, watching her. He was ready to spring into action if she missed.

She narrowly caught hold of the brach she was aiming for, swinging there for a moment before flapping her wings in order to get up on it.

He calmed down slightly.

The let out a surprized yelp as the bark underneath her hooves gave way and caused her to slide off the branch.

He ran over quickly, getting ready to catch her. He knew he'd get crushed in the process, but he'd stop her fall at least.

Ennis stuck her head under Matria in just the nick of time and caught her before she landed on the Doctor, "I don't need either of you getting hurt." she said as she set down the orange pegasus.

Matria looked up at the branch she was on, "I thought it was stronger than it looked." she pouted.

The Doctor shrugged.

"You're still young, Matria, you have some growing to do." Ennis said, smiling down at her filly. Matria squeezed her eys shut and concentrated hard, hoping that if she concentrated hard enough she would grow faster.
