Lucifer sighed and looked at her. "i'm sorry." He said as he stared at her. He had a look of sadness in his eyes.

Bella shrugged, and crossed her arms across her chest. "I-it's nothing." She started, before looking back to her feet. "I guess I'm sorry too."

He gently wrapped his arms around her not really caring. He hugged her closely.

Shocked at first by his sudden movement Bella struggled against his grip, but after another second in his arms she slowly wrapped her arms around his waist, and placed her head on her chest. "But you need to know that I can't do everything that you ask." she muttered calmly. After a second of thought she added,"I do have some feelings."

He smiled slightly and pulled her closer gently kissing he forehead. He closed his eyes. He was trying to focus on something other then her blood.

Noticing his sudden stiffness Bella frowned, and pulled away from him with ease. "So partner what's out next move?" She asked trying to change the subject.

"Find that vampire." He muttered as he looked at her gently pushing a stand of hair out of her face.

Bella nodded in agreement. "I guess I could help with that, I mean I do know what he looks like." She muttered, and tapped her chin thoughtfully. "You could use me as bait!" She exclaimed cheerfully.

"No, we need a different plan." He said trying not to get into a fight with her.

Scowling she tapped the ground impatiently, "Mhmm, then what do suppose we do?"

"I don't know, but not that." He told her with a sigh.

Bella bit the insides of her cheeks to keep herself from smirking. Lucifer might not agree with her plan, but he didn't have to. "I gotta go, maybe you think about it tonight. Bye!" She said, and pushed past him to her car. Her mom wouldn't even notice that she was missing, or care really.

Lucifer sighed as he watched her go. "Where are you going!" He yelled. He grumbled and started to go back to his house.

Bella jammed the key into the ignition, making the car come to life. As she backed up out of the driveway she poked her head out the open window. "I have to head to town for, um stuff!"

He sighed and walked home. He walked inside. He shook his head and sat down on the couch.

Bella pulled into town, and parked her car in an almost empty parking lot. It was almost sunset so she had a little while longer to find the vampire then she had thought to begin with. Sighing she walked back to the same bench where she had met the man before, and plopped down on the cold wooden seat.

"You came back to see me, sweetpea." A man said as he looked at her with a smile. He had a hood pulled over his face to hide it.

Bella found herself fiddling with a strand of loose hair as she spoke. It was a lot easier to be calm when she knew that Lucifer was nearby. "Yes, actually I did." She managed.

"No, boyfriend." He smirked under the hood. "You boyfriend has lost so much. You wouldn't want him to lose someone else, but to bad. You come to me, that was the wrong choice." He said as he shook his head.

Bella felt a cold shiver run up her spine. Forcing herself to keep her eyes locked on his hood she took in a deep breath. "You won't hurt me."
