    "They know." Lucifer said. "They know about vampires." He said. "Where were you? I told you to stay there? When you are told to stay somewhere is means stay there." He grumbled. "You could of been out of my ear shot and in trouble and I wouldn't of known." He grumbled.

    "But how?" she muttered under her breath, and shuddered. "Oh, I was at this little bookstore that I found, but even if I did get hurt at least its me, and not you." she trailed off, and shrugged.

    Bella rolled her eyes. "You know that i would die to protect my friends, that includes you." She answered, and poked him in the shoulder. "So deal with it." she teased, and ran ahead of him.

    He shook his head slightly. "I shouldn't be your friend then." He said softly. "If you're going to risk your life like that. I am going back into town." He said. "Stay here."

    Bella frowned, and sat down on a near-bye park bench. Still frowning she pulled out her book, and flipped to the vampire section. Her eyes scanned the pages until she found a paragraph about mind control. If she was going to stay here, she was going to read up on knowledge.

    "That books probably got it all wrong." A voice said from behind her as a man stood over her. "Some vampires are better then others." The man said.

    The mans voice sent chills up her spine. She closed her book, and turned around to face him. "And you would know that how?" she asked cooly, and folded clutched her bag tightly.

    "Are you really that foolish of a girl. Didn't your boyfriend tell you there where other vampires in town, but I'm not going to hurt you. I would of done it trust me." The man said as he looked at her. "Your boyfriend is probably dead by now." He said.

    Bella stood up, and stepped back. "Your bluffing." she choked out, and kept backing away from him before she started sprint back to the town. Her breaths were heavy, and her eyes were full of panic.

    Lucifer was ready to kill someone. The second he walked into town he was injected with vervain. He had now been hauled off to who knows where. He hissed and lunged foward only to be shot.

    Bella ran into to town, and searched everywhere for him. Nobody seemed to have seen him. She was left empty handed, and terrified. How could she be so stupid not to insist on following him. Now he was probably dead because of her.

    Lucifer quickly pushed the humans out of the way. He ran out the door, but not without receiving a few more bullets in the back. He quickly ran to Bella. He grabbed her shoulder and fell to the ground.

    Bella quickly dropped down to the ground next to him. "Lucifer, I have to get you out of here." she whispered, and used all of her strength to lift him to his feet. "Its going to be okay." she muttered more to herself then him.

    "Take the bullets out, Bella." Lucifer said softly as he leaned against her. "They hurt, take them out." He said as he gripped her shoulder, hard.

    "A-are you sure about this?" she asked, propped him up against a tree. She had no idea how to remove bullets from a person, or even know how to disinfect a cut for that matter. Sighing she rolled up her sleeves, and carefully removed his shirt. Luckily there were no people around.

    "Hey, do you want me to do this or not?" she snapped back. She took a deep breath, and reached into the wound, and pulled the first bullet out. "So do you wanna tell me what happened?" she asked while continuing to take out the bullets.

    "I walked into town and was jumped and injected with vervain. Then they walked me off to some cellar thing and shot at me. Stupid towns people don't know I've Ben drinking vervain for years.

    Bella quickly pulled the last bullet out, and frowned. She would leave out the part about the vampire that approached her for now. "Does everyone in town know?" she asked quietly, and handed him back his shirt.
