  • Jean looked around. There was nothing to shoot at except a pack of vultures.

  • [fancypost bgcolor= # bordercolor=# borderwidth= 0px; width: 250px;]Terri held the arrow back for a moment, perfecting her aim. Once she got a lock on her target, she released the arrow and watched it soar through the air, stabbing the vulture's wing.

  • The vulture shrieked and started to rapidly beat its wings, but couldn't. It fell to the ground with a soft crunch.

  • Jean watched the slow ritual with curious interest. He usuaally didn't see her do stuff like this.

  • Jean stopped about two feet away. "I realize that today 'as been difficult for you." Jean said.

  • [fancypost bgcolor= # bordercolor=# borderwidth= 0px; width: 250px;]Terri shot him an 'are you kidding me' face before directing her eyes back to the vast, dry lands.

  • [fancypost bgcolor= # bordercolor=# borderwidth= 0px; width: 250px;]"I'm really sorry I'm dragging you into my family issues," Terri whispered.
