    IC: Sunpool lets out a laugh, "Oh, yes, they should just let us rule SnowClan now and save the trouble. Just a pair of flawless cats over here." The she-cat new how to make fun of her self. And, with Firecracker joking along with her, she guessed he didn't find any offense in it. The tabby knew plenty well she wasn't exactly the equivalent of some sort of God walking on earth, and knew her flaws pretty well. But still, it was funny to joke about something like this.

    IC: Amusement filled the she-cat, warm as the sun. The thought of holding any power over a group of cats the size of SnowClan, in reality, terrified her. She didn't have the social skills to soothe them during times of pain, and didn't necessarily believe in war. Though the tabby knew this was all good humored, so she pushed the thought out of her mind.

    IC: "Why yes, Firestar," Sunpool says jokingly. "And then they shall run with us until we're ready to start the entire cycle over again"

    Nodding and humming his approval, Firecracker purred, "Brilliant, my dear. We shall be supreme!" He tried to let out an 'evil' cackle, but it just ended up sounding like a badger hacking, so the orange and white tom fell to the ground, laughing at himself.

    IC: Sunpool twitched her whiskers at the sound, "What in StarClan's name was that supposed to be?" she asks. Regardless of what it was, the she-cat still found it amusing,

    Humor lighting vivid blue optics, Firecracker just laughed. He couldn't help but feel so carefree and lighthearted around Sunpool. She really was the one he cared about. Finally, when he caught his breath enough to talk, the orange and white domestic shorthair just purred and nuzzled his mate's shoulder, the joy never leaving his eyes.

    IC: Sunpool felt joy creeping from her eyes to the tip of her tail. She couldn't remember the last time she truly just joked around like this. In fact, how happy she last been besides the past few days. The tabby also knew in the back of her head there was no one she'd rather be this happy with

    When he looked up, rolling onto his back so that his belly faced upwards, Firecracker noticed the sky turning a light orange. Other colors, like lilac and pale pink were mixed in, too. The sunset. It was so pretty. Nudging his mate lightly, the orange and white cat murmured, "Look." He pointed with his paw to the beautiful array of colors dancing throughout the sky.

    IC: Sunpool looks upwards as he gestures and her eyes widen. The tabby had always loved sunsets and sunrises, the colors mixing together. "It's beautiful." she murmurs. The transition between day and night was always eye-catching to her, that the colors danced in the sky all just to go from blue to black the way it does.

    A nod came from Sunpool's mate as he stared at the sky in mesmerization. Soon, even though the sky was a gorgeous shade of rainbow, it would darken and turn to deep midnight blue-black with tiny sparks of white light glimmering above.

    IC: "I guess that means we have to head back to camp soon," Sunpool points out. The colors would soon fade to a dark, uniform blue. Though the sky was bright, with the darkening sky came more rocks sticking out of the ground to trip over and mysterious sounds.

    With a sigh, Firecracker admitted, Yeah, I suppose so." He would've just liked to sit out there all night, watching the colors fade to black and stargaze.

    IC: Sunpool didn't exactly want to go, but she figured being gone all day and all night may cause reason for their Clanmates to worry. "The sooner we sleep, the sooner tomorrow comes and we do it all over again." she points out. The tabby didn't want this day to end, but she knew with the setting sun it would.

    Her reasoning made sense. It was just one of the many things that Firecracker loved so much about Sunpool. Smiling, he walked beside her, orange and white fur brushing ginger tabby fur as they headed back to camp.

    IC: Sunpool carefully placed each paw infront of each other, probably taking more time than needed. She didn't exactly mind taking extra care getting back to camp. The camp would be much more chaotic than their day, running around for patrols and chasing after kits. The tabby couldn't help but want to hang onto the peacefulness a little longer.

    Firecracker matched his mate's pace, step for step. His back was feeling much better than it had this morning, but the medicine cat, he was sure, would still insist on his taking some thyme and poppy seeds to make sure it'd healed properly. It certainly felt like it, but Paradisefalls likely wouldn't be taking no for an answer. So, when they reached camp, the orange and white cat went straight to the medic den and got the herbs -- he'd been correct, he was forced to take them whether he wanted to or not.


    Then, he left and picked out a squirrel from the fresh-kill pile, figuring Sunpool was already settling down to eat. He would have to eat quickly, because the poppy seeds would work fast, and then he could be falling asleep in the middle of a meal!
