    Ooc;; The title really says it all. Multiple she-cats can join, and he {Firecracker} will pick a mate that's best for him. If you want to know more about him, you'll find him in my character gallery in my signature!

    Ic;; With an arrogant stride, the orange tabby and white domestic shorthair strutted through the forest. Firecracker was looking for prey, so he really had no reason to be showing off apart from possibly wanting to impress himself. The tom's radiant blue eyes darted through the trees to see if he could spot any movements. Breathing in through his mouth, Firecracker caught the scent of mouse. He stalked the trail to a small brown creature scuttling amongst some leaves at the base of a tree, probably looking for food. Well, that mouse was about to become food, in Firecracker's mind. The lean cat lowered himself to the ground and moved forward expertly, leaping at the last minute and killing the mouse on impact. A purr of satisfaction emitted from his throat and he held his head proudly.

    OOC:

    IC: The orange tabby she-cat was stalking through the forest. She wasn't exactly looking for a meal or looking for animals passing through the territory. She just walked through to enjoy the time in solitude. The she-cat loved her Clan, truly, but she needed to get away from the chaos at times. Hence, why she was walking. The tabby swivels her ears around as she walks and comes to a pause as she sees a tom-cat stalking a mouse. She waits, careful not to ruin the hunt for him. The she-cat resumes walking as she sees him successfully catch the mouse. She draws a bit closer and calls in his direction, "Good catch."

    Ooc;;

    Ic;; Looking rather too pleased with himself, Firecracker said, "It was okay." The orange and white tom studied the tabby who had approached him. He then said, "So, what's a she-cat like you doing wandering around the forest by herself?" Firecracker didn't know that many she-cats who would do that, so he had no way of knowing if she was one of many. Perhaps she-cats liked to get away as much as toms did. Well, if that was the case, this was news to Firecracker.

    OOC:

    IC: The she-cat lets out a purr, "Trying to be modest, are we?" she asks. The tabby shrugs, "Nothing interesting. Just getting away from the noisiness of camp. A cat can only take so much of mewling kits and bouncing apprentices. What about you, why are you off by yourself?" With a second thought, she adds, "I'm Sunpool."

    Ooc;;

    Ic;; He looks at her funny at the 'modest'part, thinking she's probably being sarcastic. Cats call him a lot of things, but modest is not one of them. Nodding at her introduction, Firecracker comments, "Yeah, I've seen you around, though I don't believe we've ever met face to face. I'm Firecracker." He pauses, then decides to answer the question she asked him before, and the same question he asked her. "Well, I'm out for just about the same reason. Kits trampling my paws gets obnoxious after a while, along with apprentices begging for extra training." The domestic shorthair didn't admit that he didn't have an apprentice himself, though he would like one at some point. Firecracker was actually quite young at heart himself, though one would never catch him admitting it.

    OOC:

    IC: Sunpool nods in agreement, "That's true. I don't believe we've ever really spoken before. Either way, it's nice to meet you formally." The tabby pauses for a minute before going on, "I see apprentices asking others for extra training. But I don't have one myself, it feels as though I'm barely an apprentice myself." Sunpool, in some future, planned on training a young cat. The idea of helping a cat learn how to serve its Clan was something she would love to do. She had taken in a foster kitten not too long ago, but it since passed on before it left the nursery. Sunpool flicks her tail to dismiss the thought.

    Ooc;;

    Ic;; "Really?" Firecracker's voice was more blunt than curious. Though, he was actually impressed. He'd thought he was one of the few warriors who had never had an apprentice before. The orange and white tom would like to have a young cat to brag about, so he had been keeping his eye out for any worthy young cat.

    [size=9pt][color=white]

    OOC:

    IC: Sunpool nods, "I just kind of assumed that there are too many more experienced, or better suited, cats to train the young cats." she says and goes on, "It looks like many of the kits will make fine apprentices, though." The tabby thought back to the kits that she knew, and hoped that what she said was true of the kits she just observed from afar or from jumping out of their way. She only knew one other kit personally, and the she-kit was as stubborn as a badger.

    Ooc;;

    Ic;; Though he knew there were many young cats in the clan, Firecracker didn't know any of them personally. Maybe he ought to, so that the kit would ask him to be his/her mentor when the time came. Firecracker grinned at the thought. "Yeah," he meowed in response to Sunpool. "We'll get our chance to shine."

    OOC:

    IC: Sunpool nods and says, "I'm hoping sooner rather than later. I feel like just a cat in the background, like I don't even know much of my Clan. Or, rather, they don't know me." Sunpool thought of it, she had gone to the Clan as a lost kit herself. The leader had been rather welcoming, but with all of the new cats coming and going she barely knew one tuxedo from another anymore.

    Ooc;;

    Ic;; "With all the new cats, it's rather hard to get noticed," Firecracker agreed, slight bitterness in his voice. He knew new members were good for the clan, but that also made it much harder to get an apprentice. Firecracker sighed. The tom knew he'd have more luck trying to find a mate, and it was hard for him to find the right she-cat.

    [size=9pt][color=white]

    OOC:

    IC: "It makes me feel like a hypocrite," Sunpool says, "I came to the Clan when I was a little younger than apprentice age. But still, it makes me feel so confused when a new group of cats come in all of a sudden." Part of her felt confused by new faces and new names, but part of her felt glad that she can build stronger allies within her own Clan. New cats means new friends, and maybe something more than a friend. It kept her on some sort of social status rather than bare minimum.

    Ooc;;

    Ic;; Firecracker himself had been born in SnowClan, but his parents had both died in the war with BloodClan many seasons ago. So, he had never known anything outside clan life in SnowClan. Not that he wanted to, either. The orange and white tom liked living here, and wouldn't have it any other way. Bright blue orbs looked at Sunpool and Firecracker replied with, "It just takes getting used to, I suppose."

    OOC:

    IC: Sunpool returns the gaze with her orange eyes, "I suppose you're right." she says and looks around the small bit of territory they were standing in with a thoughtful glance, "I think having a safe home is worth whatever may happen." She believed what she said. The she-cat would fight for her adoptive family and would willingly die if it kept everyone else safe.

    Ooc;;

    Ic;; Firecracker was sure he would die for his family, no matter how annoying and arrogant he seemed at times, if he had one to fight for. All of his RiverClan kin had passed away, and he was the only kit in his litter, so he had nobody. The only thing that stopped him from living the life of a loner was pride in having a clan to fight for and knowing his mother and father would have wanted him to remain loyal. The orange and white tom for once remained silent, just listening to Sunpool's words. It would be nice if the tom had someone worth fighting for, like this she-cat so clearly had.

    [size=9pt][color=white]

    OOC:

    IC: Sunpool thought back to when she first came to the Clan, and all of the events that have followed. When she was trapped in a cave during a harsh winter and couldn't find the evacuated Clan cats, and then more recently. Sunpool's eyes softened at the thought of the now-passed kit, Mousekit, who she found two moons before. "So, is it wrong to assume you must have many kin in this Clan? Or the Clans in general?" she asks, forcing herself to forget her own mind once more.

    Ooc;;

    Ic;; Firecracker shook his head, blue eyes solemn. Gaze towards the ground, he said, "No, I don't have any kin left in the Clans." The tom would've specified, but he wasn't sure he could do that without breaking down. And that would be showing weakness, something Firecracker had taught himself not to do.

    [size=9pt][color=white]

    OOC:

    IC: Sunpool looks at her paws awkwardly. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked." she murmurs. If she thought before she spoke, she wouldn't ask such stupid questions. "If it makes you feel better, I don't either. I don't see it as a weakness, or something to be ashamed of." Though, again, as she spoke Sunpool thought she should take her own advice. She wasn't sure if she believed her own words.

    Ooc;;

    Ic;; Although Sunpool's advice was good, Firecracker got the sense that she was trying to convince herself that it was true, as well as him. But, it still made him feel better. Because now he knew that he wasn't the only cat in the Clan without family. Family had always been a sensitive topic for Firecracker, but maybe this she-cat could help him get over it. After all, she did have the same issues. "It's alright," the orange and white domestic shorthair meowed in response. "Questions like that can't be avoided forever." As he spoke, Firecracker realized just how true that was.

    [size=9pt][color=white]

    OOC:

    IC: Sunpool nodded at his response, though she was only half listening-now she was lost in thought of her own family. It did help that she wasn't alone in that situation, but she felt badly for opening a sensitive topic. She barely even met the tomcat and she was asking for such personal things. "I suppose so," she replies eventually, "Especially since now we seem to be on speaking terms, at least from my perspective."
