    Betraypaw sat up in her nest. She yawned and stretched her long legs. The brown tabby cat was ready for the day. She stood up, but froze when she heard a branch crack. "Hello?"

    ooc: Is this open for anyone?


    Wolfpaw got up from her nest. Betraypaw had woken her up. "what's going on" she asked Betraypaw wondering why she was making noise of course wolfpaw should of been up anyways.

    ooc: It's open for anyone, but your apprentice might get solen.


    IC:
    Betraypaw turned towards Wolfpaw. "I think there's someone outside our den."


    Earlysnow turned to Call. "I'm going to go do my job now."

    ooc: ok I sort of guessed that from the title. :P


    Wolfpaw sat up and listened closely then she remembered her mentor had told her she had great scenting skills. She tryed to smell if anyone was outside. One strange scent unknown to Wolfpaw. She sure hoped it wasn't a fox or something like that like what heard when she was a kit. "I think there is something outside just I can't figure out what." she told Betraypaw.

    Betraypaw sniffed the air. "I think it's a cat."


    Earlysnow suddenly rubbed against the otuside of the apprentice den. "Got to spread my Shadowclan scent. You know?"

    "I think Shadowclan, but their is something else mixed in" She remembered the scent from what Strongtail showed her.

    Snowstorm arrived, late for the raid. She hid under a nearby fern, her white pelt barely visible.

    Wolfpaw's eyes peered in the darkness she tryed to put her paw on what that scent was, but she just did not know.

    "It's like Shadowclan cats recruited rogues or a different clan or something," Betraypaw said.


    Earlysnow smiled. "It's working."

    "yea I guess" said Wolfpaw but truly she thought it was something different then that. Worry filled her eyes she went to a dark corner of the den to try to hide except her white/silver pelt glinted in the sunlight.

    Rockpaw stirred, hearing the loud apprentices chatting loudly. Then, Rockpaw got up, scenting Shadowclan. "What's going on?" He hissed, brown fur rustling.


    Snowstorm readied herself to spring.

    "I can smell Shadowclan. Definately," Betraypaw announced. She then turned to Rockpaw. "We're not exactly sure what is going on."


    Earlysnow crept closer to the cats, her scent spreading around the den walls. The scent would be stronger to the cats now. Besides, with the other cats scent covered up with the mud from the stream they were almost undetectable.


    ooc: Let's just say that they went to the stream and covered themselves in mud like they planned to do.

    ooc: ok so we can barely smell you but remember Wolfpaw thinks there is something else going on besides just Shadowclan


    Wolfpaw sat up she was still a little suspicious about the scent but, she tried to blend in the best she could with the wall.

    ooc: Ok. We planned to be covered in mud in the first place, but we didn't really make a thread for it.


    IC:
    Betraypaw crept back next to Wolfpaw. "Who could it be with Shadowclan?"


    Earlysnow crept closer, her shape casting a shadow on the den floor. The apprentices might as well be scared. They'd be easier to capture that way.
