Character Name: Riu A. Sapphy
Age: Sixteen human years.
Species: Mineralite || Pegasus || Pony
Gender: Male
Personality: Riu is very selective of who he hangs around. He automatically accepts any types of Mineralites, and absolutely loves hanging out with them. He detests most females, but that doesn't mean he wants them killed. Riu barely shows any weakness, constantly holding his head high. He hates whenever ponies bring up flying, since Mineralite Pegasus ponies cannot fly, and he wishes to.
History (8 or more sentences): It was a night that all ponies of equestria celebrated with loud cheers and explosions of sizzling colors in the sky... In fact, it was also the birthday of one small pony in particular, who was with a group of his friends in Canterlot, watching the grand fireworks being lit off from the large castle that housed the royalest of all of equestria. Thousands of unicorns and occasionally pegasi and earth ponies gathered to watch the grand show, stomping their hooves and causing huge commotions. He had four friends with him, who were cheering and dancing around with expressions of pure bliss on their faces, their gem eyes sparkling with happiness.
The Mineralite clapped his gem hooves on the ground excitedly as he watched his friends prance and play under the moonlight and the roaring fireworks overhead. He watched as one of them stopped and halted in front of Riu, the green mineralite's eyes shown with interest. "Riu, you must play with us! Quit thinking about that stupid girl from earlier. You know what the rules are..." Riu cut him off, immediately mocking him and reciting the rule. "Yes Yes, I know- Females are a disgrace." He murmured. He began eyeing the others, digging a sapphire hoof into the ground a few times before looking back up again.
Roleplay Sample (Required for first advanced bio):
When he opened his eyes, he was standing in some sort of large, empty cell. It was almost like John was in a dungeon.. it sure smelled like one. Musty, and he could also smell fresh blood. John hesitantly walked up to the bars of his cell and peered into the main area of the dungeon. There were at least for figures. One was tall and lean, holding a sword. A few feet in front of him was a another person, or thing, that had black hair and candy corn colored horns on it's head. It seemed to be bleeding from it's chest..
The lantern that lit up the room was suddenly lit by one of the other two, unidentifiable figures in the room, and even though John couldn't see very clearly, he could tell who the taller, leaner figure was. It was Dave. John gritted his teeth and pushed against the bars, calling out loudly. Dave didn't seem to even hear him. John looked over at the other figure.. He had a black shirt on and it had what looked like the cancer sign on his shirt, but it was grey. John watched with awe and fear as Dave stepped forward, sword raised. What the hell were they going to do?
John had looked down for a few moments, trying to figure out what this shit was. What was happening? He looked up when Dave finally spoke to the one standing before him. Dave's voice was not even close to what it usually was.. it was much deeper, rough and came out more like a growl. John could barely make out what he was saying. "Karkat, you aren't called "The sufferer" for nothing.." This statement had made The one called Karkat, angry. They grey figure ran forward and growled, swinging two hooked blades at Dave, who easily reflected the attack.
John had retreated farther into the cell, back into the darkness. He didn't want to see them fight, for fear of Dave losing. He leaned against the wall, head in his hands.
All of a sudden, he could feel the presence of someone next to him. John looked up and almost screeched. There was Dave, but his crimson eyes were no longer there... his crimson blood falling from his now empty eye sockets was the only thing left. Dave gave John a frown and shook his head, speaking in that voice again.
"You let this happen, John."
John stepped backwards, yelping as he fell into the hands of the one called Karkat. Karkat grinned as John ripped away from Karkat, running forward and pounding on the cell door. Dave watched as Karkat advanced on John. The now eyeless Dave ran forward and stabbed Karkat in the back with some sort of dagger. Karkat fell to the floor, gasping for life.
John couldn't understand. How had Dave lived through all of that? It would have been impossible. John gave a shiver and looked over at Dave, who was now reaching his hands toward John. John ran toward him, but when he went to wrap his arms around Dave, he was gone. The only thing that was still there where Dave had been standing was air.
Just like that,
gone.

All About Mineralites:
Females are usually ostracized in this species
They live in poverty pretty much and are hated by other mineralites
being a female Mineralite is not ideal.
its because of that and they are usually KILLED as foals
they're different....and mineralites hate things out of the norm
they're a very close minded species most of the time
some people dont realize that they were born out of greed and vanity
They aren't a fluffy happy species. If a mineralite is born of a tainted gem, one with defects like rocks in it, it becomes violent like a killer. Mineralites may be pretty, but in no way are they nice
Mineralites like regular Unicorns though, any found are treated like royalty
because the first mineralite ever made was made by a female unicorn
