    Zed looked at her before letting out a small chuckle ''My family is gone too , they've been slaughtered years ago ... '' he said , placing his claw on the necklace , tracing its edges .

    Saphire turned her head away sadly. "I am sorry...my family was protecting me and..then." She blinked and watched his claw trace the necklace.

    ''They died for you ... and you were left alone with no one to care for you , with no one to trust but yourself '' Zed finished moving his claw over her scales , still looking at the necklace.

    Saphire nodded silently. Her eyes grew misty. "I have lived alone since I was 2 days old."

    Zed slowly moved his wings around Saphire , looking down at her ''You know , you don't have to be alone anymore '' he said gently , looking in her eyes .

    Saphire glanced at him. Her eyes glittering softly. She sniffed. "Really?" She asked. She was back with her sister promising they would be together then her sister died on her and she was alone.

    ''Yeah , no one is supposed to be left alone .. I won't leave you with that loneliness '' Zed said , the green dragon giving her an assuring smile while his wings still wrapped protectively.

    Saphire leaned against him. Her eyes slitted. "My namesake came from my dying mother and family. Before she died she placed the necklace on my neck and said as a last survivor of our family I name you saphire for hope." Her eyes flickered shut nd she curled up close to him.

    Zed let her her curl against him , letting his claws(hands XD) pet the scales on her back , holding Saphire against him ''Well then , you should just keep hoping '' he whispered .

    Zed looked down at her , sighing as he held the other dragon , still tracing her scales as he felt sleep come over him , letting his head next to her before falling asleep.

    Zed felt Icey move on them before slowly making place for the white dragon , moving his wings so they would cover all three , smiling gently at them before closing his eyes .

    As the night passed and morning soon came up , Zed waking up and looking at the two dragonesse's ''Hey ... Icicle , Saphire wake up , its morning '' he said looking at them .

    Saphire opened one pretty teal eye then yawned. Uncurling then noticed how close she had been to zed in her sleep and quickly sat up. Her eyes on the sky now.

    Zed laughed at how quick she got up before stepping up himself ''Slept well Shapire ?'' he sked amused , looking at the dragoness .
