    Silver looked behind her at her companions. Their golden eyes glowing. They sat together on the edge of a stepped hill. Beneath them was some cats. The black cat to her right whispered to her. "That's her." He said. He was looking at a light red tabby. The ginger one nudged her and began purring. "We've found her. He said. Silver looked at her. Our mother.

    Dawnkit said determinedly, "Yes, I'm sure! And if you don't think I am, I'll follow you until you teach me anyway!" She immediately shut up after that, afraid that she had said too much or that she had been too bold.

    Ooc: I meant Indigo x3 Darktail was saying to watch him instead of fighting.


    Ic: Riverpaw eventually drifted off to sleep.


    Deadclaw stopped and looked back at Dawnkit. He sat down and went silent. "Fine, I will teach you what I know," he said.

    Angel's paws ached to be in the forest. Either that or her pads were sore from the solid grounds. She got up quickly and mewed, "Where are we going? If we're hunting all the prey will probably leave with your voice!" She was just tired from being woken up really early. She drew her paw over her ear and began to wash.


    OOC: Srry I was on a trip for 2 days. I read most of the stuff but you guys know what's going on better. A little recap please? :D ;D :D

    Ooc: There was a fight including a traitor (Dusktail's brother Fallenshadow) and he ran off. The group of warriors that were at the fight are coming back to the camp with a kittypet named Indigo. All the apprentices are in the apprentice den resting.
    Cosmo is about to bring Frost and Angel to the forest after hearing a rumor about a clan.

    Darktail has two brothers and two sisters but there names are Waspfur and Winterfur(sisters) then Foxwhisker and Whitepelt (brothers)

    Ginger nudged his siblings. "Let's go." They walked down the back of the hill then came around to the camp.

    A Wolf's Tear

    Mystified I bow my head and pray
    When I looked up the beauty was gone
    I was quite lost for words to say.
    A man asked why I did not run in fear
    I told him I saw the beast shed A Single Tear.

    Cosmo snorted and Frot chuckled. Ruby stood up and walked to them, Big and Berry asleep nearby. She nuzzled them. "When you find the clan, make sure you two come back and say goodbye to us ok?"


    Deadclaw examined the kit. "When you are old enough, we will use an apprentice to train with. For now, I will just talk. Warriors are often taught to follow the warrior code, yet it is always broken. Especially by ones like me. Do you know why?" he asked.

    [size=14][font=courier]IC; Dawnkit mewed, "Really? Why?" Since she had been raised by rouges for a while, she was never really able to grasp why the warrior code was so important anyway. And, if what this cat says is true, the warrior code actually didn't matter that much.

    "Because it's in my blood." he replied coldly. "It's in the blood of all cats to be leaders. Our ancestors are the leapord, the lion, and the tiger. Tigers give us strength to be warriors, leapords give us the speed to be hunters, and lions…" he slowed down and his eyes opened. They were glossy and bloodshot. "Lions, give us the blood to be leaders. Fighting for their clan to the death. Once you become leader, you make up your own law for the clan to follow. Do it right and you will end up rulling the entire forest."


    A darkness swirled around Jadepaw, Blossompaw, and Riverpaw in their sleep. There was nothing but silence in the thick, black fog. A bright light made the fog lighten, and the three apprentices were visable to each other.


    Riverpaw stood up. She looked around seeming startled. "Whatha?"

    Dawnkit repeated what he said in her head. One part stuck out to her the most: It is in all cat'a blood to become leaders. "That's cool... It's in my blood to be a leader? I can be a leader someday?" She wasn't really expecting an answer, it was more like she was thinking out loud. Dawnkit really did like this idea. She liked the warrior, known as Deadclaw, with his wise ideas. Dawnkit didn't know it, but Deadclaw was an evil cat, and he was starting to become successful in twisting the young kit's mind to he dark side. ((DUN DUN DUUUUNNN))

    Angel mewed, "We will. Frost and I will make you proud!" She stood next to him but behind her enthusiasm and courage was sorrow. Her parents had been slaughtered but they took her in. To leave them was to have her real parents die 9 times. Like the tale of a Clan leader. Her frosty blue eyes almost watered, and she padded to touch noses to Berry. "I wish you could come too... I hope you live a happy life. If you ever need us just sneak us from a gathering. I'm pretty sure they wont mind as long as I bring enough fresh-kill for them." Her tail swayed. She knew this wasn't her last time seeing them because they would say their real parting words tomorrow. She padded over to stand by Cosmo. Her frosty eyes blazed with excitement. She would be happy in her Clan life, but she'd miss them all the same.

    "Well I don't know about leader, but you definetly could try. Depends on who the leader is. Either you follow or you lead…" he started to explain. "If you can tell the leader doesn't have the blood to rule the clan, do everything in your power to get rid of them. Prove you are a warrior to the leader and get the clan to like you. You could soon have allies to train by your side here. You can be great Dawnkit, so can others. After all, you need a clan to rule the forest…" he said. His eyes were closed again.


    "I don't know," she said and walked towards it too. She looked behind her at the darkness fading away and saw another figure. "Is that Jadepaw?" She said, looking at Blossompaw again.

    Frost said his goodbyes to his family. His heart sank as he got the feeling they might nit even come back. The two siblings have been talking about clan life for a whole moon, and they were ready to join.


    Cosmo sighed when Angel said that. "You cannot bribe them like that. Becoming a clan cat means leaving your old life behind and becoming wild. However, there was a loner named Graytail who attended gatherings. Well, until he was caught and had to run away before warriors caught him for tresspassing. He never got caught, wonder were he is now…" Cosmo trailed off.

    Angel sighed and mewed, "Come visit us at gatherings then." She sat and washed. When she was done saying her goodbyes she said to Cosmo, "We're ready."
