Yukio seemed unaffected by the flames, he backed up at the instructions of his father, then said "Rin, I'm not gonna hurt you or let Father hurt you, honest"

Rin looked at Yukio, tears forming. "I'm so confused!" He hissed.
-
"Trust me, I am to, this place is so weird and the flames and....its all very over-whelming"
-
When Rin heard Yukio say that his flames died down. "You've never been out before?"
Shiro could help but let out a sigh of relief.
-
"This is my first time....in my home the temperature is always the same, we don't have these things or those" he pointed to the plants and up at a bird "And the only colors besides our hair, skin and eyes are black, white, and grey. We live on schedule and don't play any games, we study and get ready for our jobs to make the community strong, our meals are mostly plant-based and are rationed by our body weight as well" he explained
-
Rin frowned. "That sounds so sad... Why do you have to live like that?"
-
"To keep our community living, plus, it isn't that bad" he assured him
-
"What is attacking you?" Rin asked, innocent to what was going on.
-
"Demons, we keep ourselves emotionless in a way so that they can't possess us, our lives are chosen for us"
-
Rin gasped. "R-Really, we are doing that to you?"
-
"Like I said, its not bad" he replied
-
"I guess so..." Rin muttered.
-
Yukio then helt his hand back out to Rin "It'll be okay though, I promise I won't let anyone hurt you"
-
Rin raised his hand to his and shook it. "I shall do the same for you."
-
Yukio smiled at him in a way that would seem familiar to Rin
-
Rin remembered more about this boy he couldn't quite recall it but the feeling was there. "Have we met before?"
The question spiked Shiro's interest.
-
"I don't remember meeting anyone like you" he replied, cocking his head to the side
-
"Oh, okay... you just are familiar..."
-
"I don't know" he shrugged it off
-
"Er, sorry never mind."
