Monsterclaw was born into a rival clan as Kestrelkit. His mother gave him and his littermates away to another queen to gain the deputy rank. When made into an apprentence, Ragingtides, the deputy, murdered their leader. She was a ruthless cat, selfish and cruel. Kestrelpaw fought against his mother in hatred, and was able to releive her of a life. But the left side of his face was left badly scarred. Ragingstar was proud of her son and gave him his warrior name, Monsterclaw, in rebembrance of his appearance. Tired of their pespring attempts to befall her, the she-cat banned Monsterclaw and his littermates, then they found ShatteredClan.

His name was White of the Battered Snow. They spent forever together until White left for StarClan. The she-cat mourned. The three moved on in hope of a new clan, but later on, Seagaze ended up a queen.
