lilacpaw sniffed the air. "crestfallen!" she called again, leaping for the bloodclanner, soaked with her own blood. -
Why wont this cat except her mate was dead? Why? WHY It was this cat who's mate was dead, killed by torture, torn limb from limb, not mine, not mine, hers."WHY" She screeched to the sky as the pain of her wounds stung like a wildfire through her veins. Thrashing again, not daring lift her arms, not daring simulate the pain she felt in torture, she just thrashed desperately.

lilacpaw backed away, far away from the rogue. she caught what appeared to be a mouse, and dropped it at the attackers paws. "learn how to catch your own piece of prey, that doesn't always need to be you." she said, looking down upon the cat. -
Disapptionted she had lost her catch, she thought to track the cat again. But soon she came back. Listening, she muttered, "I only eat other cats." but resorted to the mouse anyway, hunger eating away at her insides. Gobbling it down in one single bite, she cringed at it's different taste, but her belly felt nearly satisfied. "What clan are you from?" She asked the cat. "I smell clan."

"shadowclan. you should go back before my 'mate' comes and finds you." she said. -
Her eyes were wild. Her eyes swelled with grief. Her eyes raged. "I KILLED YOUR MATE." She screeched, but to the thought of another clan coming for her, her stomach roiled and fear came spreading back into her mind, now swirling with hideous images and thoughts. Looking at the cat, with sad lonely eyes, she fled.

lilacpaw looked after her, and padded back to camp, head raised high. -
Crestfallen was speaking to several warriors, debating about their favorite battle move. "I like the hack and slash myself." "Well, no, maybe the slicer." "Not sure, I also use the--" She stopped mid sentence as a cat entered camp. Looking over her shoulder, she mewed happily, "Lilacpaw!" Seeing wounds, her happiness faded quickly, and she padded over.

"a-a rogue came, and she attacked me when i was hunting. she-she tried to eat me." lilacpaw mewed, panting. -
Listening to Lilacpaw's report, she flicked her ears. "Was it a Bloodclanner maybe?" "They don't stop by much, but I cant think of any other cat who would try to EAT their own kind..." She figured. But maybe it was a rogue. "Either way, I suggest you keep this hidden and see the medicine cat." SHe mewed. Thinking, she added. "Say it was just a rogue, nothing about the... weird stuff."

Crestfallen was surprised to hear that a rogue tried to EAT her own apprentice. What a world. Just.. What?she thought, a bit exsasperated.

eventually, she came back out, a wooden splint tied around her leg with vines was attached to her leg. she limped over to her mentor. "i sprained my paw, so i can't do heavy battle training, or hunting." she mewed. -
"Well you got your assessments." Crestfallen reminded Lilacpaw. "But, tell me this." She mewed, leaning down. "Can you still smell?"

"Because tomorrow, you're next assessment is on smells!" She told her apprentice cheerfully. "We'll be up by sunrise." She mewed, looking at the setting sun, a streak over the horizon, and the sky a light purple shade. "Might as well get some rest, eh?"
