• Nightingalekit was dashing around and exploring as he ventured into the light forest a little off by the lighthouse. Blinking his wide ice blue eyes, he caught the recognizable smell of mint and raced towards it, spotting a patch of wintergreen and watermint on one side of the Twoleg garden while there were other multiple patches consisting of other herbs.

He looked around and the scent of herbs tingled together. There was marigold and goldenrod, catmint as well as tansy, and there was even an oak tree in the middle of the garden! Beyond the garden was a grand looking, but decayed and abandoned Twoleg house.

In every big patch or so, was a black thing sticking out of the ground. Taking a closer look, Nightingalekit sniffed it and suddenly water shot out, sprinkling the entire area. Running back to the lighthouse with a drenched pelt, he exclaimed, "Hey guys, you won't believe what I found!"

  • "From the looks of it, it seems like you found a coral reef." Mesmerizingpaw meowed as padded down the stairs to the bottom floor, noticing Nightingalekit's pelt. The sight made his rounded green optics twinkle with amusement. "What did you find?" The red tabby was a curious type, and couldn't help but wonder what the tom-kit had found.

  • "A whole herb patch Twoleg garden." Nightingalekit shivered with excitement and coldness, "You have got to see it. It has almost every single herb we need!"

  • Mesmerizingpaw's eyes widened. "That's great! The others should see it too!" He meowed happily.

  • A huge herb supply? That certainly sounded useful. The head medicine cat padded over curiously, looking at Mesmerizingpaw and Nightingalekit. "That definitely sounds useful." She meowed simply, nodding her head in agreement. The tortie point padded to Nightingalekit, and instead of questioning why he had been out of camp without an escort like most others would, she asked, "Where is it?"

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px]Lilysoul was directly behind her superior, as if the mention of herbs had summoned them from their shared den. "It certainly does," murmured the alabaster femme, olive green eyes alight with interest. It would be great to stock up on everything at a gradual pace before the weather started to grow colder. Sure, it was relatively temperate on the island all year-round, but it could get pretty icy.

  • Brokenpaw stared at the herbs, a dismissive look in his narrowed yellow eyes.
    "Oh," he said.
Just another boost to help fighting other Clans. The dark black tabby flicked his ears. "That sound useful."

    (low muse)
OOC: You've been reading Harry Potter.

  • [ haha, yes I'm re-reading it during summer ]

Nightingalekit smiled at te sight of Lilysoul and the rest, "Yeah, it's by an abandoned Twoleg's home in the forest, it's some dingy, old hut, but it really awesome! Come on!" he raced towards the forest, excited and eager to show them.

  • Pricking his ears, Brokenpaw followed Nightingalekit quite unenthusiastically. But knowing the location of the herbs could help, he figured. The very dark black-gray apprentice pelted after the smaller kit. What was it doing out of the camp anyway?

  • ((Just a question, did creep approve the territory change? Cause I wasn't told either but most just PM creep bout stuff))

Octoberpaw followed Lurid with caution, she had been all around the outside territory, searching for a herb she had just learned but hadn't bothered with the forest until she saw her mentor venture in and followed behind.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border-width: 0px; width: 220px; height: auto; overflow: auto][sup]Lilysoul looked between her fellow Medicine Cats and then towards the kits. "Maybe we should wait for an escort. I wouldn't want anyone getting hurt, even with us three tagging along." She mewed, paws sturdy on the sugary white sand.

  • Brokenpaw scowled. "I'm sure we can manage fine enough."
The very dark black-gray apprentice's tail-tip twitched in great annoyance. Couldn't she see the mere size of him? He was already as big as a warrior!

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border-width: 0px; width: 220px; height: auto; overflow: auto][sup]Lilysoul's doe-like olive green optics widened in shock. Did that apprentice just disrespect her, and in front of her lowers, equals, and superior? "Excuse me?" The Medicine Cat asked, expression serious.

  • "Aren't Octoberpaw and I enough?" Brokenpaw insisted.
He was quite fed up. He wasn't allowed to stand sentry near the tide pools. Callingmurder kept telling him to be patient. He wanted to be treated as a proper warrior!

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 345px]Felix padded up, ears pricked alertly, trained on every word emitted from each of the felines's mouths. Having acquired an interest in botany, or in simpler language, plants, this was something the kitten was most definitely intrigued in.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border-width: 0px; width: 220px; height: auto; overflow: auto][sup]"Neither of you are trained enough in battle moves to be able to protect anyone but yourselves at once. Unfortunately, Luridlullaby and myself are even less trained in fighting, and would have great difficulty if a conflict arose." The solid white paused, surveying the area with her olive green bambi gaze. "I will be happy to go once an escort arrives, but until then, I deem it unsafe."

  • Well, that seemed unusual, Lilysoul being more strict then he remembered but it was the rules after all so he didn't blame her. "I'm sure a warrior would com soon enough." he purred softly, trying to calm down the increasingly obvious tension.

  • What the medicine cat had said was more than right, but Brokenpaw sniffed disdainfully anyway. He didn't like having his words corrected even if they were higher-ups. The very dark black gray apprentice waited for other warriors to appear. Then Lilysoul will be satisfied.

  • Mesmerizingpaw's emerald optics dimmed as they flickered over to Brokenpaw. From the looks of it, the apprentice was treading on paper-thin ice here. He knew that Luridlullaby was usually calm, yet he sensed the mood. Since Nightingalekit had spoken first, he let out an inaudible sigh, and his gaze broke from him and returned to the group.
