Jinx sighed as sunlight filtered into the Twoleg Monster she was lying about in. She blinked open a unsteady gray eye and quickly shut it as pain flashed through her head. "Too bright.."she muttered and blinked open her eyes again. The she-cat propped herself up and quickly slid out of the Monster. The dark ginger and white tabby stretched her long legs and padded off in a direction. She had been hunting in the forest for over a few moons now and she had to be careful since she almost met wild cats or "clan cats". She had been terrified and went to the Twoleg city nearby only to get chased by rabid dogs and sharp clawed cats. She blinked and dropped into a crouch she stilled and sprang at her target. A small squirrel. She bit into it's neck and it went limp. "Well done Jinx." She smiled and started to head back to where ever she could find shelter.

Merit's ears pricked as she glanced over the other loner. Colorless eyes had spotted a glimpse of the other she-cat when she had emerged from the belly of the dead monster, and curiosity had intrigued her into stalking around the area for a bit longer.
"...is there more prey like that around the area?" It was just a tactical question, she'd rather ask a local where the prey was running versus swallowing her pride for lunch and wandering around the unknown territory aimlessly wasting daylight. No, that wouldn't fill the hollow ache in her stomach. Drift had taught her better about conserving energy.
-
She crouched down close to a tree that would provide her shade atleast a little bit and she took a bite and then another until nothing was left. She groaned and sighed. "That did nothing.."she muttered and swung her head to the side. She observed the wildlife and sighed. If only life was simple and kind things would have been different. Her Twolegs wouldn't have passed on and the fire would have never have burnt her home. She even remebered her red collar getting stuck when she was trying to save her Twolegs. She had watched them perish infront of her very own eyes
-
Merit didn't take offense when her question was ignored, and decided it would be best to pad off in another direction. Maybe it was for the best that way, who knew? Surely this close to the forest there would be other rogues laying about, there were other opportunities to trade information elsewhere.
-
She feel into a blissfull sleep in not time and quielty shuffled against the damp leaves and sighed. She openedan eye a few hours later her body screaming to rest as she pushed herself up onto her paws and legs.
-
This is new. An abandoned twoleg monster graveyard at the edge of a forest. The dilute calico torbie had never seen this before. Her soft grey eyes scanned up and down, trying to snag even the smallest of movements throughout the pile. Nothing budged, but while she scanned, she noticed other twoleg junk and rusted objects. The mound casted off an eerie, faint smell similar to the thunderpaths that could normally make any cat's fur stand on end.
Silently, Javaroka stood at the edge of the clearing of stunted grass. Her curiousity told her told her to check it out, but her senses commanded her to stray. Her patched ear flicked as she thought about the hunting opportunities and shelter it could temporarily provide.
She breathed in, taking a strong step forward. Opportunity awaits. -
Jinx blinked around her surroundings and sighed before heading back to the car she usually would take shelter from. She looked down to see a puddle and she peered down. She was a lot skinnier than she was before she fur wasn't as bad as she thought. The black cat swished her tail and began to groom hereself quietly and quickly. "Now isn't the time but..whatever."She shrugged and trudged back home ears alerted for noises.
-
She crept around the base of the pile, alongside of a crusted monster halfway embedded into the ground. Her nose tingled at the smell of a vole, which she soon caught sight of after scenting. Javaroka immediately dropped into a low crouch in pursuit, her eyes intense on the focus. She was definitely upwind, but more movement wouldn't help the situation.
-
The she-cat finally made her way to the old car and sprang up onto the rusted car. She noticed something in the shadows crouched but took no notice thinking It was just a bird eating or some other animal. Sighing she slipped onto the head of the car and through the broken windshield. She curled up into the front driver's seat trying to get comfortable.
-
Quickly and swiftly, she nabbed dinner, clamping down on the vole's neck to snap it. A faint noise above her seemed to echo despite it's subtlety. Javaroka froze, eyes searching, ears in a perked, forward position, her tail returning to it's low swing. It sounded like something hit the metallic side of a dead monster. Her gaze began to drift upward toward the top. With her vole still clamped, she cautiously padded her way to the peak.
-
She lay there uncomfortable. "This is stupid.."she whispered. She stretched and dug her claws into the spongy padding. Her fur spiked up as she jabbed herself with a pointy part of the monster. "Ouch.."she hissed and curled up tail wrapping around herself again.
-
The torbie almost jumped herself right off of a dead rusted monster when something inside of it hissed. A sudden sound made her patched pelt raise straight up and released her claws. Her vole went plopping down through the sunroof, to her dismay. "Well, shit." she mumbled as she gave the sunroof an annoyed stare. Javaroka calmed herself by quickly grooming her fur back into place and giving her tail a couple swishes to regroup the style.
-
The black cat rested her head down on her paws and folded her ears back. Her paws were placed in a wierd postion and she closed her eyes. She felt a new scent linger in her nostrils and she pricked her head. "Another cat..?" She whispered eyes wide. Her tail swished and she scrunched her body just to make It like she wasn't there. She closed her eyes and rested her fur against her body. Her paws were tucked in and she slid her claws back in trying to be unseen.
-
The torbie craned her head through the sunroof of the monster. She peered through the rays to try to find her vole. There it was on the floor, but there was another cat sitting in one of the ledges. Well, they can have it. She thought bluntly.
-
She softly breathed and shifted her breathing was calm meaing she was out like a light. She slightly twitched but the she-cat thought nothing about it. She was too busy in dreamland..
-
She peeked in again. Well, on second thought, she's sound asleep. I may have a chance at getting it back. Slowly, cautiously, and with utmost care she slunk down into the rusted monster where the stranger slept. When she landed on the cushion with a thud, she froze. Javaroka didn't want them waking up!
-
She moved a bit and curled in tighter. Her ears twitched but she never stirred from her deams. she sniffed the air before putting her nose back down and swishing her tail.
-
Holy...! That was close... Spotting her already dead prey, she craned her neck to reach it. Once she returned it to her possession, she glanced at the other cat to check if she was still napping.
-
JInx's eyes snapped open and she sprang to her feet read to fight. "Who are you? "She bared her fangs. The black she-cat lashed her tail. "And what are you doing here?" She demanded ears pinned to her head. With a growl she was waiting for some answers..
-
Javaroka rolled her eyes. Of course as soon as she touched her vole the sleeping guardian would suddenly come to life. She knew that would happen. She spat out her dinner so it plopped onto the cushion. Javaroka calmly looked at the she cat, saying "I dropped my freshkill down that gap in the top so I decided to get it. I'm not here to hurt you, I'm just hungry." The words rolled off of her tongue like marbles; she wasn't the slightest bit shaken by the sudden blare of attitude.
