He stepped back in pain, then looked up at her. "You should forgive him, don't you know that? You forgive people for the mistakes they made not for them, but for you, or else they're going to take control of your mind..." He panted for breath. "They can mold it into anything they want to if you don't forgive them." He said, picking up his strength and round-house kicking her in the face, then tripping her and pinning her to the ground. Suddenly, a loud bang came from below the roof, and sirens began to wail. Flames sputtered out from the windows, smoke beginning to rise. On instinct, he put on his gas-mask, getting off of her and slowly backing away, examining the situation.

Audrey groaned in pain and spit some blood out of her mouth. She blinked a couple times, beginning to cough as the smoke filled her lungs. She tried to crawl away from him, her body getting weaker as her head spun. "I don't need advice from Bat Boy." She snarled before coughing some more.
-
He laughed dryly through the mask. "You let your pride take over you at a time like this?" He asked, slowly beginning to approach her. He lifted her up bridal style and glanced over at her. "You may not need my advice, sweet cheeks, but you sure as hell need my help." He said before running to the edge of the building and jumping off. He pressed a button on his watch as they fell, and right when they landed, they landed in his bat-mobile. His father was talking with the police, glaring over at his son. He started the engine and took off his mask, ruffling his hair a bit before putting both hands on the wheel.
-

Audrey weakly tried to push him away but failed. She coughed, laying weakly against the seat. "I didn't need your help." She snarled. "I can take care of myself.." She coughed, not meaning to lean her head on his shoulder.
-
00c- Gotta go!
He laughed slightly, ruffling her hair a bit. "Well, without me, believe it or not, you could of suffocated up there due to smoke inhalation." He said, then pulled over at a gas station. "Stay put, okay?" He asked, then dashed off into the store. He returned moments later with two large bottles of water. "Here ya go." He said, handing her one. He opened his and chugged it down, some dripping from his mouth. As he put the cap back on the bottle, he paused a moment. "I should not of done that. I'm gonna get sick later... Shit." He turned to her. "Do NOT copy the way I drank my water." He warned then started the engine again and began to drive over to Wayne Manor, which was a good forty-five minutes. "You can rest if you want to, it'll be a while until we get there." He said, keeping his eyes on the road.
-

"My uncle will worry about me." Audrey hissed, sipping a little of the water. "Why didn't you leave me there? One less problem to deal with." She muttered, removing her head from his shoulder and leaning against the window. "Isn't that what all you super heroes want? Us dead?" She looked at him with angry grey eyes, a flash of sadness.
(Bye.)
-
He shook his head with a slight smile on his face, glancing over at her from time to time. "We don't particularly want to kill people. And in some situations, villains grow on us..." He said, pausing for a moment. "Even to the point where we can't kill them. That's much like my fathers situation. He has grown to the point where he can harm the Joker, but he could never kill him, even if he wanted to." He said, taking a few right and left turns. Finally, they reached Wayne manor. He pulled up into the garage and parked the car, walking up the stairs and unlocking the door. He walked into the dimly lit mansion and sighed, exhausted. "I guess you could stay here for the night if you wanted. The guest room is down there, and it has a bathroom if you wanna take a shower." He said, yawning at the end of his sentence. He went over to the couch and collected a blanket and pillow and sat down on it. "I'd avoid my dad for now, I'll have to talk to him first." He added, taking off his shoes and shirt, turning on the T.V and yawning once again.
-

Audrey stood there, her arms crossed as she softly glared at him. After a few minutes, she sighed. "Do you have a blanket? I don't think I'll be able to sleep." Audrey said, not sounding herself as she looked at him, trying to ignore his shirtlessness.
-
He glanced over to her and jumped up. He walked over to the closet and pulled out a blue blanket. Before throwing it at her he said, "Here ya go." He then walked into the kitchen and began making himself a sandwich and glancing over at her. "Want me to make you one?" He said, pulling out some ingredients.
-

Audrey wrapped the blanket around her shoulder with a sigh. she looked around, her grey eyes curious. This was a really big house. bigger than she had ever had. Then she realized he had been talking to her and she snapped back, looking over at him. "Yeah, sure." She said with a slight smile.
-
"Alrighty, then." He said and began making two sandwiches, singing a bit as he did so. Once he was done, he put them on two separate plates and got a bag of chips and two sodas. He went back over to the couch and sat down. He gave the other plate and soda to her then began searching for something to watch. "Do you like anything in particular?" He asked, gesturing towards the flat-screen.
-

Audrey smiled gently and sat on the couch beside him. "Umm I like SpongeBob." She said innocently, looking at him.
-
He raised a brow. "Spongebob? Well now you're just f-ckin' with me. But okay." He said, surfing the channels to get to Nickelodeon. He furrowed his brows after a moment, stuffing his mouth with chips. He looked down at his stomach. "Look at me! I'm such a slob, man. I'm so chubby!" He exclaimed, patting his actually very well muscled abs. He puffed and looked up at the ceiling. "That means it's time for..." He paused a moment to add to the suspense that wasn't there. "Brownies." He finished then hopped up from the couch and ran into the kitchen, pulling out some ingredients.
-

Audrey watched him, a smile growing on her face. "Brownies?" She stood, walking over to him. She laughed a little, surprised by his excitement. She had changed when he had made the sandwiches and her red hair was pulled into a messy ponytail. "I've never had a brownie." She said truthfully, shrugging.
-
He dropped the spoon he was holding on the counter-top. He stared at her for a brief moment in utter disbelief. "You've never had a brownie before?" He asked, but he didn't give her time to reply before he threw some sugar at her face. "That's for not eating a brownie before." He said with a slight smirk before going to work. He put on a 'Kiss The Chef' apron over his bare chest and began to hum an Italian lullaby Alfred taught him before dying.
-

Audrey gasped. "Hey!" She screamed, grabbing some flour and throwing it at him. She smirked and crossed her arms. She stuck her tongue out at him, her grey eyes daring.
-
He raised his brow and looked at her. "So you wanna play it that way, huh?" He asked, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "Well alright then!" He exclaimed with a laugh before cracking an egg on her head.
-

Audrey squealed and glared playfully at him. She grabbed a hand full of coca powder and threw it at him, ducking behind the counter. She smiled and her cheeks began to warm up and her stomach danced. What was this feeling? Audrey had never felt it...
-
He gritted his teeth and smiled slightly. "Oh you son of a..." His voice trailed off and he ducked slowly crept down behind the counter with another egg in his hand, popped up beside her and 'BAM' cracked the egg on her forehead. He then quickly sat on top of her and put his hands in the air. "YES! Now, say I'm awesome before I make you!" He demanded, holding her wrists down so she couldn't get up.
-

"Never!" Audrey laughed, squirming to get free of him. She laughed again and looked up at him, her grey eyes sparkling. Her cheeks glowed a gentle pink as she continued to look at him but she looked away, biting her lip.
