I sighed. "They were making out on the couch and I set off the fire-alarm to scare them." I said. I saw that she had worry in her eyes and shook my head. "It's nothing to worry about. Now, are you about done?" I asked.

"Yeah." She said, setting the food on plates. "Dinner's ready!" She hollered, her eyes looking back at Toris as she turned to him. She slightly smiled at him and walked past him, setting the plates on the table.
-
I sat down at the table and prayed before I began to fill my plate with food. My daughter came into the room with a huge smile on her face along with her boyfriend, Jake. I glared at the boy from across the table as he sloppily put the food on his plate. I then paused to look at him. "So, Jake, what to do you plan to do with your life?" I asked. He chewed his food loudly and swallowed. "Well, I'm gonna own my own tattoo shop. Or, maybe I'll start a band." He said then began to chew again. I cleared my throat. "Do you think that those two careers will pay enough to support my daughter and your family?" I asked.

Audrey sat next to Toris, filling her plate with some food, looking at the boy her only daughter was dating. She looked at Toris as he began questioning him. She sighed and grabbed her husband's hand, squeezing it comfortingly, as if saying 'Ease up, it'll be fine'
-
I glanced over to my wife and moved my hand away, not wanting to be assured by anyone but myself. Jake shrugged, looking uncomfortable. "I dunno. I guess it will." He said. Soon, the two finished. They rambled up the stairs and into my daughters room. I snorted with disgust and cleared the table. I washed the dishes and then heard yelling from upstairs. Then, my daughter stormed down the steps, screaming at Jake to get out. I furrowed my brows, watching the scene unfold in front of me. Jake walked out the door casually, my daughter screaming at him. My son peered over the upstairs railing, clearly annoyed. Once Jake left, my son called out. "Would you shut up? Some people are trying to study!" He snapped. That was Emil, my ten year old son who was quite studious.
00C- You can make the name and personality for the daughter and control her. I'll play the son.

Audrey watched as Jake left, anger burning inside of her. She make sure to slam the door as he walked out. I guess I was wrong.." Audrey said, walking back to Toris, anger in her grey eyes.

The soon to be seventeen year old girl, Carrie, whipped around and glared at her brother. "Shut up, you little twerp!" She snarled, charging up the stairs and to his room.
-
Toris
I shrugged. "I would say I told you so, but, I told you so." I said, walking back into the kitchen to finish the dishes. "From the first time I laid eyes on him, I knew he was a complete jerk." I muttered.
Emil
I rolled my eyes. "It's not my fault you partnered with a complete and utter, oh, how should I say it, I don't know. I think the correct word would be ass-hole." I snapped back, going down the stairs. Even though I was a smart kid, I loved to cuss, so that wasn't a good combination.

Audrey studied Toris then sighed, hopping up on the counter. "Sorry I didn't believe you." She muttered, looking at him as he finished the dishes.

Carrie's lip curled. "Jerk!" She screamed, tackling him as he reached the bottom of the steps. "You annoying little brat! I hate you!"
-
Toris
I laughed a little as I gave her a kiss on the cheek. "No, it's okay. A mother wants her daughter happy. Now, I think we should go stop the kids from killing each other." I said, hearing them scrap in the other room.
Emil
I hissed and punched her off of me, my strength building up fast. I pinned her to the ground and glared at her. "Þegiðu, þú krakki! Ég hata þig, líka! Bara láta mig í fjandanum friði!" I yelled, slapping her. "And if you didn't know what that meant, it means 'Shut up, you brat! I hate you, too! Just leave me the fuck alone!'." I said, scratching her wrists before standing up. "Now f-ck off you stupid b-tch!" I yelled, pounding up the steps and into my room, slamming the door and locking it. My room had books and papers everywhere. My inventions and writings posted on the walls. I paced around my room, muttering curses in Icelandic. I had came from Iceland, and I never really liked my sister. My parents made my sister, but they adopted me. I loved my parents, I did, but I hated that demon they created.

Audrey nodded in agreement, hopping off the counter.

"You fucking dick!" Carrie screamed, running up the stairs and kicking his door. She growled and stomped to her room, slamming the door to where the whole mansion shook. She threw her over shirt off, leaving her in her tank top. She snarled and threw herself on her bed, screaming into her pillow.
-
Toris
I nodded. "You get the girl, I'll get the boy." I said, walking up the steps to my son's room. I knocked. "Hey, Emil. It's me. You gonna let me in?" I asked. The door slowly opened and I entered the messy room, finding somewhere to sit. "So, you gonna tell me why you did that to your sister?" I asked.
Emil
I sighed and began to sketch in my notebook. "She's so stupid. Learning is way more important than relationships." I muttered, only glancing up at him once. "Well, she's a teenage girl, what do you expect? Things like these really take a toll in their lives. Sometimes you just gotta put up with it." He said. I put more pressure on my pencil, biting my lip slightly. "Well what if I don't want to put up with it? It's stupid. She knew that boy was a rebel in the first place and she should of prepared herself for the impact. It's simple." I replied back, my face twisting in distaste.

Audrey climbed up the stairs to her daughter's room, opening it slowly. "Carrie?" Audrey asked softly, peeking her head in. "What is going on with you are your brother?"

Carrie sat up, her blue eyes angry. "When will everyone stop calling him my brother? He's not my fucking brother!" Carrie screamed, throwing a pillow at the door. She fell face first back onto her pillow and groaned. "He's a douchebag who only cares about himself."
-
Toris
I heard my daughter scream from the other room and shook my head. "Listen, Emil, I know it must be hard for you to be separated from Iceland, but I need you to try and make peace with your sister. I know you loved your other sister very much, but I need you to love Carrie just like you did Elizaveta, okay?" I asked, looking tiredly into his eyes.
Emil
What he said near broke me. Images of Benjamin and Elizaveta popped up in my mind, my only two friends, gone. Elizaveta wasn't one to give me up, but my mom was. Elizaveta wanted to take me back to Austria so bad, but our mother refused and gave me up for adoption. I sucked a deep breath in, closing my eyes. "Don't bring up Elizaveta, okay? I will never love Carrie as much as I did Elizaveta simply because Carrie is an over-reacting b-tch who sells herself off for a penny. Elizaveta was my sister, Carrie's a wh-re." I said with a slight venom. I had tried to love Carrie when I first came here, but she simply called me a freak for being Icelandic and then marched up the stairs. So, that's when I returned the bitterness and decided it wasn't worth sh-t to even pretend to love her.
-

"Why did you guys ever adopt that freak?! He doesn't belong here and he obviously doesn't like it here! Carrie snarled, her blue eyes daggers at her mother. "It's not fair I'm stuck with the freak from whatever lame country he's from! He's not my brother and he never will be!" Carrie continued, her voice rising.

"Carrie Marie Wayne, I am sick of this attitude towards Emil! He may not be your brother but he has tried to bond with you and all you've done is call him a freak. I'm sick of it! Audrey shouted at her daughter, her grey eyes blazing.
-
Toris
I heard my daughter and my wife scream. I sighed, running a hand through my hair. "Well, Emil, I can't change your opinion on Carrie, but I at least want you to respect her, okay?" I asked, looking tiredly at him once more.
Emil
I nodded, rolling my eyes at my sister's shrill voice. "Now, when ever she comes out, I want you to apologize. I'm I making myself clear?" My father asked. "Já herra." I replied shortly. He got up and exited my room, to which I huffed and sat on my bed, starting to work on a few inventions.
-

Carrie clenched her jaw, anger fuming through her fragile body. She glared at her mother but stayed silent. "I'll respect him when he respects me." Carrie said sharply, standing and walking out of her room, slamming the door as she thundered down the steps.

Audrey watched her daughter storm out and exhaled deeply, throwing herself on the bed. "Teenagers are so complicated..." Audrey grumbled.
