A sigh came from the lip glossed lips of the blonde. It was storming outside, and she had been in the same cab for hours. Her next stop was in the middle of nowhere, in the panhandle of Texas. She was to visit her Grandparents for the Summer. Jayden, was her name, and she drew designs on the window from the condensation. Nothing was to entertain the 19 year old. She had graduated High School last year, not deciding which college to go to since she had 2 scholarships. 1 from UT, which was The University Of Texas, and NYU, which was New York University. The two were good colleges, and had taught many of the famous people today. Jayden gazed out of the cleared spots of the window, only being able to see finely cut green grass as far as the eye could see. It was a barren wasteland to her, yet such a wonderful place to her dear old Grandparents.

The cab had finally stopped, Jayden's head resting against the glass window, almost in a perfect slumber. She opened her eyes, realizing that she had finally gotten there. The blonde opened the door quickly after taking her seatbelt off. She heard the trunk pop open, revealing her stuff. She grabbed her luggage, which was only about 2 suitcases and a couple of bags. The drive way was muddy, her Vans shoes getting muddy. "Oh gosh, no.. I paid a lot of money for them!" She mumbled, finally reaching the stairs to the old house. It had two floors, yet the space was mostly taken by furniture. Inside the house was extremely country, picture frames made of rusted barbed wire, old pictures of rodeo bull riders, and every once in a while, you'd find a couple of pictures of Jayden's Grandfather and his RanchHand. Jayden finally got her luggage on the porch, ringing the doorbell a few times. No answer. She knocked on the door, waiting for her Grandfather or Grandma to answer.

~*~*~The Plot is that the RanchHand and the Girl meet, become friends later on after he shows her around the Ranch, shows her how to do some things, etc. They become best friends, spending all their free time with each other, and soon fall in love. It's easy! xD. Remember, this is Semi Advanced to Advanced to either 5+ sentences each post! Have fun!~*~*~

  • Jayden looked to the door once she heard it open, seeing someone she didn't expect. She heard her Grandma's voice from the kitchen. The 19 year old walked into the old wooden house, walking into the kitchen. She gave a small smile to her Grandma and Grandpa, then gave a nod to the ranch hands sitting at the table. Jayden set down the luggage, her loose, white shirt soaked from getting out of the cab. "Gran, you might not want to hug me now. I'm soaked." The blonde said, noticing that her Gran was getting up from the table. "I'll hug you anyway, dearie." She said, walking over to Jayden. Jayden gave her Gran a hug, a gentle one though, not wanting to get her very wet. Once her Gran sat back down at the table, she gave a small smile to her Grandpa, walking over to him, hugging him lightly, not wanting to get him wet either.

"I'll be in the guest room.." She said, walking to her luggage, picking it up once more, carrying them to the room. Jayden opened the wooden door, walking in. The walls were still a sunflower yellow with pictures of her old horse, Mist. The black and white paint had been with Jayden since she was 14. She gave a smile to the first picture she and Mist had ever taken together. The blonde set down her luggage, unpacking the bags, putting her clothes into the large dresser that was in the room. She layed out her make-up on the counter, which was on the dresser, along with a small mirror. Jayden finally finished unpacking, getting up and setting the luggage in the corner of the room. She had already layed out a pair of dry clothing to change into. She closed the door to the room, locking it briefly.

She slipped off her baggy white shirt, along with her ripped jeans and muddy Vans shoes. The 19 year old put on a lime green shirt, along with Hollister shorts, slipping on some socks. She grabbed the soaked clothed from the floor, unlocking the door and carrying them to the bathroom, putting them in the hamper that they put dirty clothes in. Jayden walked back into the kitchen, seeing the muddy mess she left on the tile floor. "Gran, don't bother cleaning that up, I will." She said, walking into the washing room. There were brooms, mops, dusters, and other cleaning utensils, along with the washer and dryer. Jayden grabbed the mop, walking back to the kitchen, mopping up the mess.

Once she had finished cleaning it, she put the mop back in the room of which she got it from, walking into the kitchen. "Want some breakfast, Jayden?" The blonde nodded her head no. "No thanks. I ate breakfast at home back in New York." She said, walking to the screen door of the house that led to the barn. She looked out the screen door. "I can't wait to see Mist." Jayden said to her Gran, a small smile on her face.
