"How chivalrous." She remarked sweetly.
-
"Merci, mon ami." he said.
-
"Hey. I'll meet you at the gas station. I need to grab my hockey stick."
With that, Mathew ran back to his house, and picked up his weapon of choice.
-
She smiled, looking around.
Alfie waited at the gas station.
-
When he returned, he was slightly out of breath with his hockey stick cluched in one hand.
-
"Well, let's go find it." He smirked,
-
"Would you like to get something to eat with me?"
-
"Sure." She nodded.
-
Francis led the way to a diner.
-
She followed, observing the area.
-
Mathew nodded and followed after his friend.
-
He looked around furiously.
-
Francis had left his car outside.
-
"Found it." Alfie smirked.
She noticed a group of older boys glaring her down.
-
"You do the honors."
-
He swung the bat into the side.
"She's pretty cute, Francis, but I didn't know you were into Negros!" One
of the boys shouted."I'm not African American." She mumbled softly.
-
He harshly smashed the stick into the side mirror.
-
"Come on, Matt." He urged.
-
"Ok. Ok." He replied quickly.
