Krieg stopped for a moment. He looked up and gaped at the size of the giant ship that was looming before him. It was large enough to finally stop the pummeling of wind on his salty blue-grey fur, and the large shadow that came from it cooled him off. He relished momentarily in this fantastic feeling. In all my moons of exploring I have never seen such a wonder. Krieg padded closer, and suddenly realized something. This ship was.. occupied. There were pawprints on the path towards the entrance-- not to mention that there actually was a path, and it looked fairly new. He walked closer. Maybe these cats will be willing to negotiate...?

Frula, an unusual peterbald cat, made her way through the shifting sand beach that made its way to the home of the self acclaimed 'pirates', Scarclan. She knew no one there, but that is why she had came, to meet someone, to earn a reputation amongst everyone. Frula's paws shifted through the sand uneasily. It was way too soft for her. It was.. unnerving. She had been used to rocks and gravel, but here she was, the softest spot in the universe. Not to mention the amazing sunlight. She almost wanted to curl up and go to sleep.
She lifted her head from the sand, revealing her eyes to what was in front of her. Wow. They sure had an interesting lifestyle, judging by where they live. Very.. unique, she thought, and left it at that. But next to the ginormous ship was a salty blue cat. Maybe a member? She had no means of telling.
She quickly walked up to Krieg, her blue eyes glinting with the realization of opportunity. Maybe they could become friends, she thought, if she tried hard enough. She sat infront of the burly cat. He seemed as intrigued by the run-down ship as she had been. "Hello?" Frula said, her tone implying a question more than a greeting, "How are you? This beach is so great."
Well, this wasn't going anywhere.
-
Krieg's ears perked up, and he turned his head to Frula. "Oh, hey there." He meowed with a grin. "It is nice, isn't?" He looked down at his paws. He didn't notice it at first, but it wasnt just the ship that was magnificent about this place, the surrounding area was soothingly nice as well. The white sand felt nice and warm on his pawpads. He looked back over to the peterbald. "Hey.. you're not from around here are you? I mean, the sea. You seem pretty unnerved, the way you walk on the sand." He didn't wait for an answer, but kept talking. "I'm a traveler bound to the sea, so I'm used to it. But I think its safe to say we both have never seen such a 'beaut, eh?" He turned his head to the ship again, nodding.
-
Frula nodded at the question of her homeland. "I'm not from around here, I'm more natural with mountains and the cold." The shecat replied with a neutral voice. "I'm just trying to say hello to each clan and all."
Upon having another question thrown at her, she seemed unsteady. "Well, no, yes, okay, it might be pretty nice. It's pretty great. It's definitely cool." She seemed to have some sort of doubt that the outside was going to be as pretty as the inside, just like the mountain tunnels.
This tom was nice, though; maybe they could go take a look at it together? Well, he was kind of obsessed with this boat, so she had no doubt he would be unobliging for that adventure.
"Maybe we could go check out the interior?" The peterbald calmly suggested, her optics locked onto the sea cat. She wondered what it was like to live by the sea. She personally hated water, so for her it would be disgusting! But she had to respect this cat for his brave attitude. That was always uncommon.
-
"Yeah, that would be nice, but..." He looked at the pawprints going towards and from the entrance again. "I'm pretty sure shes being used as a home... and from the looks of it, for a lot of cats. Could be rogues..." He meowed uneasily. "But a little adventure isn't something to run from, y'know? I'm sure they won't kill us. And they might be friendly after all." He took a few steps toward the ship. "You comin'?"
-
"It's inhabited by cats from a group called Scarclan. From what I know, they bear no ill will." Frula replied calmly, swiping sand over the pawprints. She honestly didn't care whos land it was. She wasn't here for territorial reasons, or to spy or fight. She was here to make friends and to seek out reputation. A short 'adventure' through a boat wouldn't have much of a bad impact on her. "I'm coming!" Frula replied as she leapt over to the tom, the floorboards of the ship creaking beneath her feet. Usually she was the most silent hunter. Hm, this must be old.
-
"Ah, you seem to know more about it than I do, then." He padded in the ship after her, and felt the relief from the heat outside. "Ah, the interior is just as beautiful." He pointed out. "Though she's pretty beat up... this wood is pretty old, lotsa splinters." He continued to ramble on excitedly, pointing out pros and cons of the ship as he explored, checking if Frula was behind him every once and a while.
-
"Name and business. If you came for no damn reason, get the hell outta here." Tori grunted, padding up to peer suspiciously at them.
-
Krieg jumped at the sound of the voice, and turned to face the speaker. "Er, hey there..." Krieg was caught off guard, but he recorved from his falter and answered his questions. "I am Krieg, an explorer who happened to stumble across this goliath of a ship... and this is Frula, who I met 5 minutes ago." She paused for a second, contemplating his next answer. "And why were here... Uh... Adventure?" He said, grinning.
-
Frula was shocked and startled by the sudden entrance of Tori. "I.. uh.. I'm.." The cat began to stumble, nearly barfing. There was a knot in her stomach. Didn't the Elite do this, too? Was it some kind of universal language to approach other cats so hastily? She had to be quick. She only came to look around. What excuse did she make? The most obvious one, of course! "My name is Frula. I'm.. I've come to join,"
Oh my god did she really just do that. The poor peterbald cat was freaking out. The Elite hated clans. She was completely disrespecting her future morals and priorities. There was a good question, though, why was she here? They would think she was a spy if she said, "I'm just looking around!" In some sort of carefree nature.
The cat backed away, the short hairs she had were bristling were fear. Her ears drooped, and she looked pleadingly at the cat. Oh my god, please don't get suspicious, Frula prayed to herself, I am innocent. I am not here to do something terrible.
Until Krieg decided it would be cool to be an honest little jerk. She was always honest- except when her life was at risk! She shot an ungrateful glance at Kreig. "Well, I'm here to join. I just saw him at the entrance."
She was in deep water of lies. Knee deep. She hated lying. She felt so, so terrible.
-
"Adventurers don't have any damn right to be on ScarClan territory, so you get the hell outta here, 'kay? If I or anybody else of SC ever see you again with a excuse like that, we'll send you to the dungeon. Go, shoo. You're lucky I don't feel like beating you up right now." she hissed to the tom, irritance clear on her fair features. "You. Frula, it'll help you easier to join if you help chase this bastard off. C'mon." she grunted, advancing toward Kreig with her eyes narrowed and her claws unsheathed.
-
"Wait, what?!" Krieg hissed, his hairs bristling. "You're not running me off, damned pirate. I do whatever the hell I want and you can't stop me." He stepped up to him, growling. "Well, your move." He meowed, grinning.
-
Frula attempted to look heartbroken, giving sad glances to Tori as she skulked out of the ship. She could at least try to prove she wasn't lying. At least to make herself feel better. Maybe she actually did want to join. Maybe it would be better in she was in multiple groups. But what if a war happened? Which side would she be on? This was all so complicated. The cat drooped her tail down, before slowly walking over to Tori.
"I.. I lied. I'm so sorry, i will never do it again," Frula sobbed, on the verge of tearing up from fear and guilt. Why was she even guilty? It was such a small thing. It didn't even matter! "My name is Frula, and I actually want to join, I swear by.. uh.. Starclan." it'd be silly if she swore by her own ancestors. They didn't even know what it was, so that would be.. silly, quite frankly!
"I.. guess I'll chase him off.." Frula replied shakily. She betrayed her friend. Wow, she was horrible. Frula sent out her paw, claws sheathed, to Krieg. "please understand," She muttered to the cat she barely knew.
-
"Agh!" He was caught off guard, not expecting Frula to actually fight. "So I guess were fighting an uneven match, huh? A bastard pirate and a dirty mutineer, against a salty old traveler. Sure, lets do this." He dashed forward and took a slash to Frula's underbelly from her side.
-
Tori grinned. Then, her body melted away to nothing. A bear lumbered out from the ship, it's eyes scanning the beach. A smile curved it's lips as it sprinted forth, aiming to do a simple dive. She was very powerful as a bear, so hopefully it would break a few bones, she would kill him, and it would be done. She didn't want it to be messy. Just a simple killing, that's all. "You either fight or become an enemy!" Tori roared in response, beady black eyes still on Kreig.
-
Frula nearly screeched as the tom sent out his daggerish claws at her underbelly. Oh gosh this is NOT what she asked for! She was already partially starved and restless. She did not need this. The world would be millions of times better without this. Frula let out an agonizing shriek as his claws raked across her thin, soft skin. She wasn't used to fighting. She never felt so much pain before.
Was this what death felt like or was she over-exaggerating? No, she just felt like she was going to cough up a vile of blood, that's all. She looked at her friend, teary-eyed. Did he just call her a dirty multineer? Oh no. Verbal attacks are what hurt the most to her.
Seeing as her skin is very thin and light, the slashes near her side were deeper than they would have been on most cats. Red, sticky ooze clung to her fur. Ha ha, yeah, screw helping. The female craned her neck down towards her wound and grazed her tongue over it, attempting to lick up the blood. Only a few drops poured out, but she was sick to the stomach- she was extremely scared of bleeding and hurting and all like it.
-
"You betrayed me, and this is what you get. Mercy is for the weak when it comes to people you make connecitons with." He looked at her teary eyes, and sighed. "And I guess that just means I'm weak..." He walked past her, saying from behind, "You can run now if you want, just please... please don't try to fight anymore. I want to see you live." He turned to Tori and nodded his head. "Fine, I can deal with you later, pirate." He turned to face the gigantic bear, and without pausing to say anything more, slid along his side to get to its furry back, and started slashing.
OOC: Crap, I didn't see the bear post. I don't know how, but I completely missed it.
-
The cat nodded, turning back to where Tori should have been and OH MY GOSH is that a bear. Woah! She really wanted to learn how to do that! Did Tori just turn into a bear?! Wow! Oh right. Escape. She had to get out of here, she had to live- just like what her friend wanted her to do. And she would never break a promise. She was making a whole big deal out of this- she had just met him minutes ago. But so far he had been the only kindness she had found- and she blew it. But she still had to get out of here.
The female heaved herself up, doing so slowly to insure it would be barely painful. She could feel her muscles ache for healing. The she cat closed her eyes. She didn't want to see her wound- It made her want to scream from fear and sadness. What if it left a scar? She would have to remember this forever.
Frula could only imagine and play out what would happen when she returned to the Elite camp. "Where did you get that scar," asked one of the elitists when she returned to camp. "Oh nothing, I just barged into ScarClan and joined them. I am very sorry. I cannot choose a side."
She had to get out of this scene. She slinked away, trying to not be noticed. Her wound creaked with pain just as the floorboards creaked from old age.

OOC: I was sort of waiting for Fli.. but whatever .-. I just want to get Kriegs intro out of the way. I guess I'll just wrap this up.
Krieg parried and slashed, parried and slashed, in a repeating motion while constantly moving. Every once in a while he got a small scratch, but nothing he could tank through. Slowly and slowly, his stamina lowered and lowered, however, and soon he was panting for breath. Ive never fought a bear, but come on! He thought. While recovering, he was caught off guard. The bear used its massive claws as a sort of sword, and his mighty blade came down with such force and speed, Krieg could not dodge it. He tried, but failed, and 1/4 or so of his tail was severed from his body. Immediately he shriveled up in pain, and lied there, his eyes closed and his body curled up. He didn't say anything, and a pool of blood slowly radiated from his tail. The bear loomed over him, ready for the final strike.
OOC: In other words-- someone bump in and save him please. c:

( sweetie, saying stuff i didn't post her to do is counted a power-playing. just letting you know. ^^ )
the bear stared in triumph at her victory, then stared at the small dot of frula in the distance. she grumbled in annoyance. aiming for a low swipe to grab Kreig's scruff, she happily lumbered to the border and dropped him, sniffing before turning away.
( only loner or rouges or another clan who likes him can save him now-scarclan usually makes enemies of trespassers and isn't very kind to them. i suggest posting in another place for maybe another clan to help him. [: )
