    The Clan known as AshClan has been around for generations. Most of the elders had even long forgotten the first cat of AshClan, Ashstar. This cat traveled long and far with his unnamed Clan at the time. He stumbled upon a forest that had been recently wiped out by a forest fire. Ashes littered the ground, but promising stalks sprouted through the gray dust. He made his decision then. He would call his Clan AshClan and they would make their home in the soon-to-be forest. Ashstar has been long gone for generations and AshClan is now thriving in the flourishing forest.
