Hegemon slunk away from the fresh-kill pile where he had just set down some freshly caught prey. The sun was high in the afternoon sky by now and it's heat beat down on Hegemon's creamy fawn colored back. The tom sat down and groomed his short fur, stopping briefly to look around. It was rather peaceful today and it felt good to just lounge around for a moment.

Photoshop glanced down at Hegemon, his bright cerulean optics twinkling. "Hello!" the tom purred, grinning down at his Clanmate. "The weather's nice today, isn't it?" he added, hoping to strike up a conversation.
-
[size=8]Hegemon looked up at Photoshop, a smile appearing on his muzzle. "Yes, quite a nice day indeed." He shifted his gaze away and peered around. He loved days like this and luckily they were quite often this time of year. Looking back up at the other cat he smiled once more, "How are you today?"
-
"I'm doing great! You?" returned Photoshop, allowing an always-present crooked smile to grace his gray and black features.
-
[size=8]The tom smiled, "I'm doing fine, thanks for asking. " He fell silent for a moment, glancing around casually. It was too nice a day to waste despite how much he liked to just lounge around. Turning back towards Photoshop he mewed, "Would you like to go hunting, maybe? Surely the prey would be running great on a day like this."
-
"Of course!" the gray tabby returned, his white tail tip flicking happily back and forth.
-
[size=8]Hegemon gave a warm smile and rose to his paws. "Great! Let's go then," he purred as he turned towards the entrance. Hopefully the prey thought like him; finding it a perfect day to just lounge around. That would make the task of catching it a lot easier; however, he was certainly up for a challenge if one presented itself.
-
Photoshop gave a brief dip of his head before padding after the tom. It really was a nice day, he thought absent mindedly, his tufted ears swiveling back and forth as he listened to the birds.
-
[size=8]Hegemon smiled back at him and exited the camp. His ears perked up, listening for the sounds of anything unusual. Probably nothing so close to camp, but always a good idea to keep an ear out. His eyes scouted the area, switching quickly from one thing to another as he watched the leaves rusting in the soft wind and the birds dash nimbly from tree to tree way above his head. Slowing down to almost a stop he shifted his gaze back to Photoshop. "Which direction would you like to go?" he asked.
