  • Antonio stepped out the door, realizing that he felt a bit upset. Was it from leaving Lovi? No, it couldn't be. He wouldn't be upset over that! After all, he planned to come back the next day.

    ---next day---

Toni knocked on the door the next afternoon, a wide smile on his face. "Lovi! I'm back!"

  • [justify][size=8]Lovino runs over as quickly as he ran away when he was a child, and he hugs him tightly. He kisses him and walks back into the house. "It's about-a time you got here, ya jerk," he teases, sitting on the couch.

  • "Sorry. Francis came over for a bit and wouldn't leave." Toni walked over to the couch, sitting down beside his friend. "How are you today~?"

  • [justify][size=8]"That's-a not surprising. I'm-a /hiccup/ fine," Lovino mutters. It was obvious he had been drinking, considering there cans everywhere and he was starting to get the hiccups.

  • [justify][size=8]"I-a don't /hiccup/ know." He rests his head on the Spaniard's shoulder and sighs, reaching over for another full can he had on the table.

  • "I won't say no to a few drinks, but this is ridiculous," Toni gently knocked Lovi's hand away, moving the can out of reach. "You've had enough."

  • "No. I don't like seeing you like this." He shook his head, taking his hand in his own as to stop him. "I don't want you to be drunk every time I'm here. Lay down and sober up. I'll be right here."

  • [justify][size=8]"Like you're / not one to / talk. When I / told you that I loved you, you were / worse." {/=hiccup} Doing as Toni says, though, he lays down, but rests his head on his lap.

  • "Lovi....it was hard to believe at the time. But I do love you." Antonio gently rubbed Lovino's back, releasing a small sigh. "I do love you. Just...I'll be here. That is, if you want me here."

  • Antonio grinned, stretching himself out so Lovi was comfortable.

    --timeskip--

Toni woke up a few hours later, realizing he must've fallen asleep. "Lovi, wake up. Can I stay here for the night?"

  • [justify][size=8]"Sure, but I don't feel like moving." Lovino shifts himself on his lap and groans, putting a hand on his forehead. His head was pounding.

  • "Well..." Antonio gently pushed Lovi off of his lap, standing and gently picking the Italian up, bridal-style. He carried Lovino to his bedroom, placing him on the bed before crawling up there himself. He wrapped his arms around his friend, holding him close and leaning down to nuzzle his neck. "I love you, roma~"

  • [justify][size=8]"I-I love you too, Antonio," he mumbles, quickly passing out on his bed. He was curled up against his friend, relaxing in his arms.

  • Toni let out a short hum of happiness, falling asleep shortly after.

    --next morning--

Antonio was the first one up, waking at seven a.m. The Spaniard slowly detached himself from Lovino, covering his friend with a flimsy sheet and fetching a cool rag to put across his forehead. Lovi would definitely have a hangover today, with all that he drank. He walked downstairs, deciding to watch a bit of tv before Lovi woke up.

  • [justify][size=8]A few hours after Toni had woken up, Lovino slowly begins to stir up in his bedroom. He groans in pain and sits up, putting the cloth off to his side and looking down at it in confusion. Oh yeah, Toni had brought him up here last night so they could sleep. Great, he was probably downstairs too. Fantastic.
Lovi sighs and stumbles down the stairs after about ten minutes pass, and he goes to the living room, glaring at Antonio from the back of the room.
