    íc: Duckpaw looked into Owlpaw's eyes, "Are you ok?" she whispered softly.


    Riverpaw mewed, "Where are you going?"

    Windwhisper snapped it and the other one. "You're free now." She gave a proud lick to both the apprentices. "Good job, now we must go..."

    "Yeah, Duckpaw. I'm fine," he assured her. He smiled a little wider as he was freed, then got up, still a bit numb from being there so long. "As soon as we get back to camp, I need some fresh kill. I'm starving."

    íc: Duckpaw nodded and felt her heart drop, she padded back to camp silently.


    "M-my life?" Riverpaw stammered. She thought about it and mewed, "I'll be right back!" she sprinted to camp and saw Duckpaw, "Duckpaw, Falconpaw is going into a rouge camp!"


    Duckpaw's grew wide, "What? Dear StarClan, you're not going with him are you?"


    Riverpaw shook her head, "No, I guess Falconpaw and I were never meant to be." she sighed.


    Duckpaw put her tail tip on Riverpaw's shoulder, "It's ok, Owlpaw and I aren't working out either," she gazed at him, then quickly turned back to Riverpaw. "I'll go."


    Riverpaw shook her head, "It's too dangerous!"


    Duckpaw shrugged, "I know, but if Owlpaw sees how brave I am, there might be a chance!" and with that she bounded away and met Falconpaw, "I'm going with you."

    Windwhisper padded into camp. "They really are brave. Brilliant, brave apprentices."
    Shadowspark turned around. "IDIOT! WINDWHISPER WHERE HAVE YOU BEEEN?! YOU'RE SO WEAK AND STUPID!"

    Owlpaw walked into camp and immediately stopped at the fresh-kill pile. Grabbing a rabbit, he lay down and began to eat. As he did so, he eyed Duckpaw and Riverpaw chatting. I wonder what they're talking about.

    Owlpaw polished off his rabbit and tossed away the bones, then walked back into the camp clearing and sat, bored.

    íc: Duckpaw let out a mrrow of laughter, her laugh like the soft tinkling of silver bells, "Yea she does!" she stopped and looked down at her paws, thinking. She then looked up to Falconpaw and mewed, "At least, I think she still does."


    Riverpaw padded over to Owlpaw, "Hi Owlpaw!"

    íc: Duckpaw laughed, "Well I'm not sure she wanted to go into a rouge camp anyway. She just wanted to be with you." Duckpaw felt strange somehow talking to Falconpaw. She didn't know what it was, but she felt, different.
